Super speed

Nice sturdy cable
This is my initial review. 1. The cord is quite sturdy. 2. I have tested it by connecting to my asus tuf laptop with usb 4 type c port and s23. I am uploading a screenshot of the speed test shown by crystaldisk app. 3. It's close to 5gb since my s23 has 3.2 gen 1 type c port. Hopefully it will be able to send even faster with faster generation type c. 4. I have also tested it on my s23 charging, and as per ampere app, the charging speed by samsung cord and this one are pretty close, like it's going from 9 to 12w, and similar for samsung cord too. With temperature being around 39 to 40° C. Will update later on, if I find any problems with it. At around 35 degree celcius of the battery, the cord is able to charge it upto 18W, again similar to the samsung cable. Let's see, how does it perform after a couple of months

SUPER UNRELIABLE
I wanted to use this cable with UGREEN NVME SSD Enclosure 40GBps with a WD 40GBps SSD. Im running MacOS Tahoe from this external SSD, so I need the connection to be very reliable. However, I noticed the UGREEN was getting disconnected few minutes after I boot the MacMini M4. First I thought it was an issue with the Igreen itself so I reinstalled the ssd and tried again a few times. It disconnected every single time. Then I changed the USB cable. Now the UGREEN is stable. So the culprit is the Portronics USB C cable. PS: I noticed the Mac boots and apps load noticeably faster with the Portronics vs the bundles USB C cable that came with the UGREEN. But the reliability of the Portronics is just not there. DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE except for charging. Also I don’t recommend using this to charge Apple devices. It may lose a risk and brick them. Should be ok with Android devices.

Must have cable at this price which actually capable of T4 speed.
Absolutely amazing product. Never expected this quality product at this price. It Actually transfers data at T4 speed. I was able to achieve 2.8Gbps using this cable. I would recommend this cable any day.

great cable for the price
this has to be the safest and the cheapest thunderbolt 4 cable in the market. does the job as expected the braided cables is durable and length is pretty decent now portronics should make a thunderbolt 5 as well
