I've used both bags twice and so far they've done very well. The Owl bag is super cute and did keep my wet/dry items separate and the dry stuff stayed dry and there was no leakage from the wet side. The multipurpose bag while not waterproof, does a good job of protecting and holding two scuba masks and snorkels with the tops of the snorkels poking out of the bag. The Multipurpose bag is also way larger than described by other reviewers who said they couldn't fit shoes in them. I am a women's size 8 shoe and I was able to fit my shoes in the multipurpose bag with lots of room to spare.
