Philips HeartStart AED Defibrillator Adult SMART Pads Cartridge, M5071A

Exactly what I needed. I purchased the replacement pads as the other ones had expired and were dry. This is for home use, we live very remotely so EMS is at least 15 minutes away. For optimal heart muscle salvage and survival chances this is a life saver! Literally.

Bought to replace expired pads. New expiration date is two years out. Hope not to need them but glad to have them.

We needed to replace our defibrillator adult smart pads and wanted OEM quality. These were recently made and have a future replacement date of 3 years from now.

These are the original equipment pads used with the Philips Heart Start defibrillator. They have adhesive on their parts that degrades over time, so the factory recommends replacing them on a schedule as we did. When we retired the old pads, we used them for a practice drill on how to place them. The condition of the adhesive was good at the time of this replacement. Naturally, you absolutely don't want to do such a practice drill with these pads connected to the defibrillator. In theory, the defibrillator won't administer a shock to a person with a pulse, but for safety, you don't want to have the pads connected to the defibrillator if you choose to use them for practice as we did.

Quick delivery. They appear to be a genuine Phillips replacement part.

My original pack had expired. Warning! Do not pull on the handle when replacing. The release catch is behind it. This allows you saved the old one. Hopefully, I won’t have to use it again. Always keep the AED in a cool dry location away from small children. And, review how to use periodically. I purchased from Phillips because of quality control for such devises is necessary.

One of the AED pads I received has an expiration date of 12-29-2025 which is less than a year and half! The balance of my order was expiration date of 3-27-2026 which is more within the acceptable range.

Fortunately I have not needed to use my defibrillator, however, the pads had expired, these replacements are perfect. Hopefully they will expire as well (rather than being used)!!
