Pro: Great for tight spaces, new and novel concept on caulk guns, works great on plastic and cardboard tubed products, I did not experience any drips or runs after the trigger was released. I purchased the aluminum tool, very strong & well built, but the tube release is plastic!! Only time will tell. Con: Not ideal for aluminum tubed products. Not ideal for adhesive materials. The grip surface embeds itself in the aluminum and it is extremely difficult to remove the tube. The built in cutter deformes the aluminum tube so that it leaks around the internal track and plunger. So if the adhesive (5200) dries the gun is toast.. Still gave it five stars.. It is still a nice tool for some use cases, but don't throw out your standard caulk gun... Know your project, and you'll be fine. Recommended.

Not good for industrial cardboard tubes of caulking, I thought I’m going to be more efficient at work, it turns out it’s workless, I pay for this item with the most expensive guarantee but I lost a lots of money, I don’t want it, what a waste, please refund my money

Purchased the metal for long term usage. Operated fine so far, with a tight fit installing and removing cartridges. Cartridge holder seems like the weak link of possible future issues ? No parts display or available shown. Piercing wire tool is to tightly held in place, need a screwdriver to pry out each time, but snaps in place easy. Perhaps a simple lever to pop out could be added for removal. If it does not break on me, will be happy.

Nice design that works well. The fact that there’s not a plunger sticking out the end allows it to get into tighter places. Plus I don’t have to hit the release on the plunger to keep the tube from spitting out calk. Yes, some still does seep out but that’s due to air inside the calk tube, something that this can’t fix. I’m glad I gave it a try and bought it.

Much better than the compact it's plastic and the gear broke after using for a few months .this one is made of metal and isn't that much longer than the compact seems to be good quality

This caulking gun is a game changer. In the past I used the traditional style caulking gun and I always had excess caulking squirt out, it was a mess and often applied uneven unless my hand was steady on the trigger. This tool stops all the drips, the wasted caulk, and it's compact and easy to use. Honestly one of the best buys I've made in a long time, highly recommend it. Plus it's not plastic like some of the slightly cheaper replicas, super impressed with this tool!

Hatte vorher eine Presse von Henkel die immer eingeklappt ist bei schwerfälligen Kartuschen. Diese hier quetscht halt gut das Zeug durch. Über die Langlebigkeit kann ich nicht viel sagen. Ich sehe hier den Schwachpunkt an dem material das die Kartuschen hält ( ist sowas wie Schleifpapier geklebt auf Kunststoff) aber sonst eine gute Presse mit wenig Platzbedarf
