We have had this for 4+ years and it has held up. We wash it in the dishwasher. It can be difficult to get the correct size on some pies and it can leave gaps from needing to "size up". It is floppy and this makes it difficult to put it around a hot pie without accidentally touching the hot service with your fingers. I have recently discovered that it can be used on some 12" frozen pizzas when the crust is cooking faster than the middle. The pizza in the photo is a Home Run Inn.

works great. The only thing I did was to use a metal clip and clip the overhang of the shield to itself, perfect! I was baking an 8" pie.

I haven’t used this yet but will as soon as possible. I hated that every time I made a pie crust that I had to fashion a foil ring that falls apart before I make it to the oven and then to have to remove the foil before baking completely. This stays on the pie crust edge until it is fully baked. And it’s adjustable. Which is why I purchased this pie crust protector.

This is not as good as using tin foil alone. Groves pop off in heat so it is not snug. It’s convenient to have different size available in 1 item but if it doesn’t hold together it’s useless.

Much easier to use than the aluminum ones Ive had for decades. Worked great. Would fit many different sized pie pans.

The crust edge still brown to a tan but doesn’t burn. So I say it’s doing what I wanted. I’m happy.

It does it's job but the design isn't great. When it is hot it is difficult to adjust the shield if needed or to take off.

This is a great purchase deserves 5 stars, my pie crusts always over browned in the oven, but this has solved the problem. I would recommend this to any one who makes pastries and pies.

This is absolutely perfect! I had a metal one for years but of course it only fit one pie size. This one is easily adjustable to various sizes. I tried it the day after I purchased it and it worked better than I hoped. Excellent product, will be buying another one in pie season!

Aparentemente es de silicón de buena calidad, pero lo usé por primera vez y saqué el pay del horno para darle vuelta, el protector se movió, estaba caliente y al tratar de acomodarlo se rompió. Es una idea excelente pero no gasten su dinero.
