This is a great product, the build quality is absolutely solid and it fits the Sky Q box like a glove. Two points to note, the first is that you may struggle to get the box hidden behind your TV unless it's big, we mounted this behind a 48" Samsung TV and we had to mount it rotated 90° which due to the absolutely sturdiness of the bracket was no problem from a weight bearing perspective. I used some bigger wallplugs just to be sure as the Sky Q silver box is quite heavy but the supplied ones would probably be fine. The other thing to note is that you will need to use one of the newer remotes with a touch pad - the older ones without touch are IR so mounting the box behind the TV will block the beam and it won't work. The newer touch remotes use Bluetooth so it's not an issue. You can pick up the touch remotes from Sky's website if you don't have one - we only had one for the main box and not for our mini. Overall though a great product.

For what it is (a piece of metal and a few screws and fixings) it's very expensive but does the job and fits my sky q box 2016 model well. One thing to watch out for is the gap at the back for wires doesn't give enough space for the ethernet cable but could be drilled if needed

We wanted a box we could mount behind the tv , we didn’t want all the wires hanging out the bottom , as it would defeat the object of the image we wanted with tv on the wall , wanting it to look neat and tidy . I almost made the mistake of ordering a similar item but luckily realised at the last minute we had ordered the wall mountable box for the mini box and we wanted it for our main sky q 2b box ! So make sure you are ordering the right mount for the right box , this is brilliant and is really secure on our wall, the box doesn’t overheat behind the tv, and you don’t no need to see the box to use the remote as it is a Bluetooth remote .

You will all know the turbulence of the nagging wife, and her ever willing need to make you do more, the nagging continued for the 12th month, when finally I decided enough is enough, I orderred the amazing product to hide the sky box from sight, I personally had no issue or desire to alleviate the sky box from my visual perception, for me it just wasn't an issue, however for the wife, this was not the case, the demand was ever growing to raise my posterior off of the couch and do something about it. So I did. And may I say ...... wow. Just wow. This product ended it all for me, no nagging, no wining, no get off your arse, it was bliss, peaceful bliss, thankyou for this product and thankyou amazon for the next day delivery you have saved my ears and my marriage xx
