I had a Samsung tablet before and during a vacation to Manhattan, it was hacked and destroyed. I upgraded it with this model and I am very pleased. My only complaint is that there isn't a tablet holder that fits. Nonetheless the tablet itself is exactly what they promote it to be. I love the size of the screen. I love the ease of adapting the screen to fit me specifications. I haven't had any negative experiences with it. I would avoid using Google for malware. I won't comment why, but I would advise dealing directly witha manufacturer.

I bought 2 of these for Christmas gifts and they were a huge HIT! They LOVED them and told me the color, sound and amenities were amazing. They were using small tablets prior, so getting these huge tablets was a definite game changer. The quality, ease of use and functionality were just perfect for their needs. These tablets were bought used, but looked absolutely brand new. They also came with a 30 day warranty from the seller.

14 inch screen with all the poweress of the Samsung eco system. I bought an excellent probably one of the best choices this year. Did i mention that it arrived quickly and with minimal scratches. Pretty much excellent like new condition

I got mine last October, when Samsung foolishly offered me a great trade in deal on my S8 Ultra. Am I glad I did - absolutely. Is this the best tablet in the world - well - - - Pro's: 1. It's big. I'm an old guy and that big beautiful OLED screen is wonderful for my tired eyes. The graphics are great. The colors are wondrous and web surfing is a breeze. 2. It's fast. I don't know all the technical details of the CPU and GPU, but apps run quickly ( sometimes faster than my laptop) and graphics just seem to blink into place. videos and streaming is as smooth as watching TV or a movie theater. 3. The cameras are awesome. Dual 12MP and 8MP cameras for wide angle shots and a 12MP selfie camera that works good for video chats. Cons --- 1. It's big. Finding a case for this thing was a trip. Yes, there scads of them on Amazon, but they are all set to run the tablet in landscape mode. I finally found one that works well both ways. Lugging this thing around is something else. I have a good wrap around case so I can carry mine like a school book, but finding space for it is a consideration. It gets to ride on the floor, under the back seats, in my pickup. No room in the front. 2. Battery life - Samsung brags about 16 hours. Well, maybe, if all you do is read a book or surf the web with it every now and then. If you play many games or use it for other apps, like MS 365, be prepared for 10 - 12 hours, unplugged. When I'm using the MS apps, I'm usually in landscape mode and the tablet is lugged in and charging. But, a lot of games run in portrait mode and it can't be plugged in. 3. Did I mention the cameras? They are great, but trying to manhandle a device this size to take pictures is ridiculous. Notes - I got the 256GB version with 12MB memory. I have a 1TB MSDC plugged in for storage. The 12 meg might not seem like much but I've had MS Word and Excel up and running and they didn't seem to be struggling any. I guess if you run any really exotic apps, you may need the larger storage & memory versions, but get ready to shell out the bucks. I'll recommend this over the iPad any day. Those things are limited to what ever Apple lets through their Apple store. The play store has a lot more capabilities in it and there are outside sources for specialty apps. And, iPads do not allow for adding micro SD chips to increase storage capabilities.

I love Samsung and that includes this tablet. It's great but I didn't realize how big it was. I love the speed, battery life and the value for the money, the storage capacity. I use it more then my computer because its so handy. Only thing I wish is that it had a port to plug in a memory stick and I should have bought a smaller size which was my mistake. Next time I'll measure before I replace this one.

Bought used like new, touch screen on mine didn't work properly in some spots always causing double touches making it impossible to use if held vertically. Returned.
