Absolutley fantastic camera body. Excellent non studio work due to its more compact housing.

Received my new A7CR 61mp last week. Fantastic to open a brand new camera, really well made and solid. I chose black because its easier to see. The first thing everyone should know is that the battery needs a 9v 2A or3A charger, a standard phone charger will not work. I purchased the Sony charger from Amazon and the battery charged in 20 minutes. The battery can be charged using a USB cable but I dont like this idea so 2 batteries are essrntial. Dont buy cheap batteries or chargers they could damage the camera. The camera comes with a hand grip, I dont use big lenses, max is 24 105mm f4, so the hand grip is not required for me. The setup and menu is easy to use just takes around 10 minutes. A word of warning I do not recommend setting the shutter open, it could get damaged. Setting the shutter open was recommeneded on a website but better to refer to the Sony instructions. The viewfinder could be better but its good for me. The back screen does not fully tilt but I never need this anyway. A lovely compact camera with a great sensor and superb lightweight lenses being available.

Kamera kam aus UK und hat kein deutsches Menü. Lässt sich auch nicht umstellen oder durch ein Firmware Update ändern. Das ist die einzige Einschränkung. Ansonsten eine TOP Kamera.

I love this camera. I feel like the size, specs, customization potential, ergonomics are all amazing for the price when compared to other similar products on the market. It's not for pro use because of the single card slot but for everything I do it's great. Of course there are always things we can complain about - I wish I could save back button focus vs half press to the custom profiles as well as dial functionality. Not a deal breaker. The common complaints that the pro reviewers have are the viewfinder resolution, the large file sizes, and the lack of the full tip/tilt screen on the bigger models, but these are all things that after some use really don't bother me at all. Once you set it up just right and get the settings and buttons down to muscle memory, it's really a great system to shoot with.

In the nature trail, I used the 5-axis image stabilization to take handheld shots of landscapes and wildlife. Despite walking and occasionally shooting at slower shutter speeds, the images were clear and free from blur. The camera’s low-light performance was notable, allowing me to capture vibrant sunset shots with minimal noise. For video, I recorded some 4K footage of the scenic vistas. The video quality was superb, with excellent detail and smooth motion. The ability to use S-Log3 for color grading provided flexibility in post-production, giving the footage a professional look. Overall, the Sony Alpha 7CR exceeded my expectations with its balance of high-performance features and portability. Ich bin in das Sony System mit der A74 eingestiegen und kam mir damit immer wie ein Paparazzi vor, die kompakte A6700 hat mir daher viel mehr Spaß bereitet, hatte aber immer das Gefühl qualitative Nachteile in Kauf zu nehmen. Da ich hauptsächlich Vollformat-Objektive nutze und gerne croppe kam ich schließlich auf die a7CR, dachte aber 60 Megapixel wären total übertrieben. Ich lag so falsch. Die a7CR hat eine A6700 praktisch mit eingebaut, erweitert damit aber ihren Blickwinkel und bei Makro und Tele brauche ich garnicht weiterzureden, wie viele Vorteile das hat. Ein sehr teures aber wirklich cooles Spielzeug für Hobbyfotografen und sicherlich eine der besten Reisekameras.
