Excellent Present

Good not five stars
It's a good quality book , some good information, some photos could of been better and I noticed some world buildings that are historic and have a amazing archetecture not in the book which is disappointing.

Split into 2 sections (up to 1500 and after 1500) with an introduction for each, this book takes you on an unforgettable journey through history's greatest architectural milestones. Buy it if you appreciate architecture OR high quality, large format photography. Images are beautifully reproduced too.

Stunning big book
Bought this as a present for a fellow traveller rather than a book for someone interested in architeture. Wonderful photographs of places all over the world. Good to make a wish list of "must see" places. As I have not been able to read it myself I can only say that the person who received it was very pleased.
