I for one don't use large (>6-inch) knives so this set was perfect with all knives being of manageable size and not unwieldy at all. I also live alone so didnt need a 10/12/16 piece knife set. This was perfect. The construction itself is surprisingly good given the price point, and with a teeny bit of sharpening they were ready to go, and super sharp.
