ZWILLING Universal Lid

Heavy enough, light enough, tough enough and stable on all my 10 and 12" frying pans. Nice Item. Recommended.

I LOVE this lid, and I don't really cook! It is so solid, very well made, and fits ALL our pots and pans -- even the frying pans, which don't usually come with lids. This will be handed down to our grandkids.

I saw something similar at a cooking class in Italy and had been hunting for a “universal lid” with no success when this popped up on Amazon. It really terrific and I use it almost every day. The quality and design are excellent. It stable and sturdy on smaller pans, and fits large pans quite well. The only drawbacks are, because of its size, it doesn’t fit well in my dishwasher and it needs quite a bit of height to store in a rack. A small price to pay for such a versatile tool. Highly recommended.

Bought this lid to replace the rusting lids in my 10-year old, made in China, Zwilling Spirit set (unlike most people, my pans are in great shape for their age, but all the rims of the lids have rust where the seal meets the metal). Aside from the smallest saucepan (1qt?) the lid fits all the other pans in the set. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the lid accommodates the 4 qt Spirit braiser (made in Vietnam) recently purchased. It will not fit the Zwilling 4.5 qt CFX Perfect Pan though, because both the handle and helper handle rise a little too high for the lid to settle on the rim of the pan. Overall, I'm happy with the quality/heft of construction, and that it fits most of my cookware. I do have to jiggle the lid a little bit, to seat it on the pans correctly, or else I'll get steam condensation dripping outside the pan(s). But it does work as intended.

Just the perfect cover for frypan whose lid handle broke. I can use it on multiple size pots and pans. Love the offset design that doesn't get in the way of your pot's handle...unique!

Really nice lid, but make sure how your handle is attached to the pan. My handle is at the top of the pan and doesn’t allow the lid to sit properly on top.

Seems really well made, but it doesn't fit any of my saute or sauce pans. Bought it for my Made In 10" and 12" saute pans. It didn't fit, but it was so nice I thought I'd try it on my other pots and pans of different brands. If it worked, it would have made a nice spare lid, probably the lid of first choice. Alas, it didn't seat properly on any of them.

I needed a lid to replace my many broken ones. They just don't last as long as the pots and pans do. This feels sturdy and has got heft to it. Fits well on all my pans.

A qualidade é boa como sempre, más o uso é restrito na area do fogão. Com o diametro pode acontecer dependendo do fogão que não se podem usar 2 bocas ou 3 de uma vez.

The cover is a bit heavier than I expected, but this is on account of the heavy handle, which serves to stabilize the cover on small pots, where much of it overhangs the edge. The off centre design means it doesn't interfere with a small pot handle either. The overall quality and heftiness means this cover doesn't ding and feels like it'll outlive me.

This universal lid is quite ingenious and convenient. Just ensure you are using pans that match the specified dimensions. I had never seen anything like this before - I bought it and now use it regularly.
