It was a slightly padded mailer envelope with the earrings inside a tiny plastic bag. One of them traveled well. The other one was bent badly. It was too close to Christmas to ask for a replacement and I carefully bent it back straight and it worked. I ordered a necklace that matches and it was in a nice box. The earrings get 5 stars and look just like Amazon's picture. They didn't offer me any input on on the way they are packaged and sent - 1 star for that.
