I had bought the first in the series and liked the story (which I will not go into as you can read that online somewhere). I had thought about buying the second book but spotted the complete series as one unit. I really do hate a series as quite often one book is just not available for whatever reason. The books came quickly, well packaged and I have enjoyed the (somewhat dark & morbid) storyline. Worth finishing the story but you may not like the ending!

Accompanied by Bob (one of my favourite characters – read it and find out) they battle Nazis in a world where Hitler wins WWII, face dinosaurs after a glitch strands them in the Cretaceous, and unravel a medieval mystery tied to the Holy Grail. Other adventures include fixing a warped American Civil War, surviving Caligula’s Rome, dodging Victorian assassins, sailing with pirates during London’s Great Fire, decoding Mayan secrets, and facing a grand finale that ties their journey together. The settings are vivid, blending real history with imaginative twists. Scarrow’s strength lies in his imaginative story lines, creative historical mashups and fun characters. This collection is a fast-paced, addictive ride for sci-fi and history buffs alike. I loved it!

Fabulous series of books. Described by the author as 'cocaine for kids' but this can apply to adults too. Scarrow does wonders with the famously difficult subject of time travel, also addressing fundamental issues such as what it means to be human, and the question of whether our existence is part of a pre-determined pattern, or whether we have free will. He also gives convincing glimpses of he world at key points in history and persuasive portrayals of key characters in history. Although the books be come increasingly fanciful - it is very difficult to bring a series like this to a convincing close - I will certainly be among those pre-ordering the final book in the series in November.

My 14 year old loves them. He says the stories are exciting but some of the wound descriptions are a bit full on.

LOVE these Time Riders series of books. I read book one and for some reason stopped at book 2 mid-way through. I could have got them for my phone/tablet etc. But you can't beat the feel of a real book in your hands. I had waited a LONG time for these books to show up at a decent price. Delighted with them.

Great book set and excellent value for money. My grandson had already read the first 4 books but it w as cheaper to buy the whole set than the remaining books individually. The four remaining books will be given to a friend for his birthday.

Time Travel novels are always fascinating to me and this set did not disappoint. A great read.

New book set as described. I bought just when it was on sale. The printing quality and the binding are good. My kid quickly fascinated with this set and complete reading all the books.

I absolutely adore this series! No matter how much I tried to predict the plot, it was always one step ahead at one point or another The books were delivered in great condition, and withstood our nightmare that was a damaged delivery box!

This is a great series and is written for all age readers however, a caution should be taken that the killing of charcters in the books would probably be inappropriate for preteen readers.
