Great item. Plugs into computer to allow direct sound recording. Playback is great. I adapted this for a model railway, so I replaced the push- button with a reed switch. A magnet then activates the sound. Maybe the manufacturer could consider this option, offering a pre-wired reed switch?

This works very well. I fixed it behind a picture frame as I was making an anniversary gift for my parents. Does exactly what I needed it to do with no problems at all.

Didn't come with instructions, came with a recording like a flushing toilet that we couldn't remove, could only add one extra recording to the chip instead of multiple ones which we were expecting.

Relatively easy to install, put audio files on, etc. Encounteres some issues with my Mac creating temp files that it would try to play, but managed to remove these from the command line. Sound quality isn't ideal, but hey, it's a tiny little speaker that cost next to nothing. Sticky tape wasn't very good at adhering to plastic, but some glue sorted that out. My main issue was there didn't seem to be any way to decide in which order the files played.

Works great for adding sound clips to craft builds etc. Clear and loud. Would buy again.

Didn’t work and wouldn’t connect to my computer

I made a video for clarity, so here I'm going to go straight to what matters, the device works just fine, it connects to a Windows device straight away, unfortunately I had a bit of trouble connecting it to my MacBook Pro (M1 chip), since my windows machine is for work I needed it to work. For some reason the board is not detected straight away, and it doesn't even want to light up and charge, despite trying three different working cables. My work around was to plug it through a hub as seen on the pictures, not sure why this way is detected, but it could be due to incompatibility between types of USB C ports, so connecting it through it hub circumvents this handshake needed. Once connected is just like any other Pendrive, you drop your desired MP3 files in and it will play it consecutively one after another once the bottom is pressed, you could also force a loop by holding it pressed by a few seconds. Also MASSIVE ADVICE, you can definitely find this device for way cheaper, if you know where to look, I was just in a rush for my project, but given Amazon's warranty is definitely worth the money.

Pretty sweet ngl. I had to solder the connections back together at the speaker/button/battery, but thet was fine. Made a very special gift with this. though I wish the button wire went straight into the button

I believe the listing description is incorrect. It says there is a light sensor, but this appears to only be activated via push-button. It's super easy to record your own message to replay. I'm recording my daughter's favorite short story book ans stitching this into her favorite stuffed animal. I'm thinking of more and more cool applications for this that I'll be buying several more to make Christmas gifts. The only thing I can think of to improve this would be to include at least 1 hole to be able to screw mount if desired. Also, it comes pre mounted on adhesive backing to make it easy to mount in a card or something flat. Would absolutely recommend.

Ready to go, off the shelf sound module that seems custom made for props and costumes! This unit is small enough to fit just about anywhere - the speaker is surprisingly loud, but in a crowded con setting might get drowned out. The thing I like best about this is the USB input, which means I can load any sound effect I want at high quality without having to deal with the built-in microphone. The only thing that would improve this, IMO, would be provision to trigger a light in time with the sound.

What a great little device. I ordered this voice recorder to add to an animated halloween display. It’s simple enough to use and produces the effect that I was looking for. This voice recorder comes complete with speaker, mic, rechargeable battery and activation switch. The thing I like the most though is the USBC port, it allows you to charge the battery and load voices or sounds effortlessly. Definitely recommended.
