The product is beautiful. The tiny cap isn’t user friendly

I wanted to love this eyeshadow. The application video makes it look simple and the 'luminous, not shimmery' comments by the founder won me over. The color is indeed beautiful. However, as other reviewers have pointed out, this eyeshadow dries extremely fast -- like in several seconds. Perhaps with practice, I'll be able to apply it effectively in a matter of seconds, bur for now, I cannot. So it takes several applications to get it right, and I am worried I'll end up with too much product on my eyelids. Second and also as other reviewers pointed out, the product splurts out of the tube as soon as you open the cap, so a lot of it is unfortunately wasted. I live at around 6,000 ft altitude and thought this was the source of the problem, but judging by the reviews, this is a known drawback of the design. FInally, by mid-to-late afternoon the eyeshadow has flaked off a bit/some of it is gone. I will continue to use this eyeshadow and experiment with application, wearing primer underneath and so on, and try to update this review in several months.

Very beautiful shimmer eyeshadow cream. It is a smooth satin feel. If you have oily eyelids like me then you will need an eyeshadow primer otherwise it will crease.

I’ve been searching for a replacement for Laura Mercier metallic crème shadow, discontinued years ago. I had high hopes for RMS after seeing Wayne Goss swatch it on YouTube. Sadly, this product falls short. Color goes on muddy and has very little shimmer, so it doesn’t brighten the eye area as the LM cremes did. Using a cream shadow brush, this product was hard to blend out. I bought four colors, and they all looked muddy, flat, and lacking shimmer. The biggest fail is the pressure in the tube when you open it for the first time. I lost 1/4 inch of product that came shooting out, despite not putting pressure on the tube. This performs like a drugstore product at a department store price.

I really like this product; my only complaint is that the tube felt half empty. I had bought another color before this, and the stuff was squeezing out of the tube as soon as I took the top off.
