Nice little box cutter. I grabbed the pink one that has sprinkles and it always catches everyone's eye. Has not blade play and holds the blades in place nice and firm. Quick and easy to deploy with thumb stud or with axis/crossbar lock It has a very nice little clip that so far has proven to be durable and reliable in clipping it to pants. Very small and easy to conceal. So light you forget it is there. Safely designed and you don't need to worry about the point sticking out. Maybe I am asking too much but purple sprinkles would fit in nicely. Full liners too. Still 5 stars. Would buy again.

As an industrial electrician, I’ve used just about every utility knife out there over the last 17 years. I’ve carried Milwaukee Fastbacks, Klein, and plenty of other brands. I prefer utility knives because I can simply replace the blade instead of stopping to sharpen it. The Oknife U1 is, without question, the best utility knife I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. The axis lock is the star of the show. Blade deployment and closing are incredibly fast, smooth, and satisfying. After adding a couple of drops of KPL Knife Pivot Lube to the pivot and locking mechanism, it became even smoother. The action now feels effortless. I paired mine with Tajima VRB2-100B V-REX II utility blades, and that combination is phenomenal. Those Tajima blades are unbelievably sharp—almost surgical. If you’re buying this knife, I highly recommend giving those blades a try. I also personalized mine with a lanyard made from 550 paracord and a titanium bead I found on Amazon. It not only looks great but also makes the knife easier to pull from my pocket. One thing worth mentioning is that I considered buying the Oknife U1 Pro, but ultimately decided against it. My biggest issue is the 1/8-inch screwdriver bit. I think Oknife missed an opportunity here. If they had designed it around a standard 1/4-inch bit, it would have been much more versatile, stronger, and compatible with the bits most people already own. The Pro is also slightly longer, but for me, neither the extra length nor the bit driver justified the higher price. If you’re looking for a utility knife that’s fast, smooth, durable, and built to last, I don’t think you’ll find a better option than the Oknife U1. It has earned a permanent place in my pocket and is now my go-to utility knife.

Love this thing. The bar lock on the back is secure. You can use nearly the whole blade and if you need to, the blade is easily removable to use flat or replace. The design just makes it easy to see so I don’t leave it in a crawlspace. The clip unfortunately fell off but that’s more my fault because I knew it was loose and didn’t tighten it.

Works great for cutting boxes and using as an everyday carry. flip in flip out action has been smooth and flawless for more than half a year now. Feels good in the hand. Since I've had it and it's been in use everyday at work or at home, the screw has unintentionally unscrewed and fallen out twice. Special star screw is annoying

Perfect utility blade. Nice and Easy to swap blades. Perfect edc, lightweight, and easy to carry.

This thing is small, extraordinarily well built, and has a tip up clip. Super easy to flick open, before oiling, and secure mounting of the blades. The only (very minor) drawback is that you need pliers to grip the blade change knob, but I will take that, as it is very secure in holding the blade spine, and allowing full use of the edge. Great pocketknife! As an update, included is a piece of 550 cord, and the little tool pictured.... it is tucked away in the box and I missed it previously..... if you tue the lanyard on, you have a blade change wrench on the cord......

Excellent quality, fit, and finish. Nice weight. Be prepared to replace the set screw at some point, but they’re cheap and readily available here. The screw is much softer than the frame so it can strip if over tightened. Super flicky whether throwing open with the button of flicking the notch on the back. Titanium model worth the price. Ceramic blade shattered pretty quickly so be prepared for that.

This thing is awesome. Super snappy action after an evening of flicking and a drop of lube. The micarta has a nice texture and is chamfered nicely all around. There’s some functional jimping on both the handle and blade holder. Feels great on the test cuts I did so far, can’t wait to actually put it to work.

This knife has exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The Pink Sprinkle finish is bloody awesome, the pink is really solid the whole way through, the sprinkles look great, but I'm not sure if they go through the g10 layers as well, or are just screen printed on (This coming from a bloke who also edc's a leatherman MUT). The mechanism is second to none, I was expecting some side wiggle, but no, its really solid and the pivot mechanism is smooth (and getting smoother with use) The blade utilization size is also really useful (also a bit scary whilst getting used to it, compared to other smaller utility blades, whilst flicking open/closed) Overall my #1 favourite knife at the moment, the only negatives I can find so far (daily use in mechanical retail cutting everything) are that the blade retention system doesnt allow for some of the "unique" utility blade designs, like the twin seatbelt-cutter style blades and some of the longer hook blades, simply by design they wont work, as this knife uses a friction plate retention, with the blade sandwiched between either plate, compared with most others that solely use the retention indents at the top of the blades. But overall a top tier utility knife, highly reccomend to anyone.

It works, but it’s not as convenient or versatile. The Kizer also uses only a thumb bolt, but it compensates with extra practicality: the knife includes tweezers and a small toothpick-style tool integrated into the handle. These added features make it more useful for everyday carry and give it a functional edge over both OKNIFE Blade Change System The Otacle U1 advertises tool‑free blade replacement, and yes — you can swap blades without additional tools. However, if you want the blade to be truly secure and tight, it’s better to use the small key included in the box. So the “tool‑free” advantage is real, but slightly questionable in practice. The Civivi uses a one bolt TX8 blade holder system, while the Kizer secures the blade with two bolts (slot screw would say ,however they are made like a cross but you can't use PH screw driver) , giving it the most solid and confidence‑inspiring lockup of all three. Price & Value OKNIFE Otacle U1: 65.73 EUR (discounted from 77.33 EUR) Civivi Elementum Utility: 49.99 EUR (not on Amazon) Kizer Drop Bear Utility: 38.99 EUR (also a promotional price also not Amazon) Despite being the cheapest, the Kizer feels the most robust and ergonomic. The Civivi offers the best deployment system and a very balanced design. The OKNIFE is the most expensive and currently offers fewer practical advantages compared to the other two. Conclusion The OKNIFE Otacle U1 is a well‑made and attractive little utility knife, but its smaller size, single deployment method, and semi‑tool‑free blade change make it less competitive. The Civivi Elementum Utility remains the more versatile option, while the Kizer Drop Bear Utility stands out as the best overall performer thanks to its full‑size handle, rock‑solid blade retention, and excellent price.
