Direct bolt it and quality kit! The only reason I gave installation 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am mechanically inclined so of course it was easy for me. It still took me about 30 mins. Buy it!

We have model 5050 these replacement parts fit perfect and were easy to install. Kit price was much better than buying individual parts or new grill.

This was missing screws for the flavor covers. Otherwise great product

Made my grill like new again, I’m very pleased.

​I installed this kit in a Char-Griller model 3001, with the following results. Over all things worked well. It has screws and nuts only for the new brackets not for other components where you might want to change the screw (which are usually pretty cruddy). I didn't understand what the short wire versus long wire thing was, but it had to do with the ignition system. It does not come with new igniters so they must be easily removed from the old burners and reattached to the new ones. You'll need to take the front panel with the dials off to get to the front brackets. The brackets are very important to replace as they were all burnt out and corroded. The most difficult part was the fact that the back end of the burner did not align with the hole in the new bracket. Without taking the brackets off, I tried to drill new holes that were closer to the edge that would fit the large hole in the burner, but I could not accomplish this. So I took longer screws that I had so that they would reach from the burner hole and screw into the small hole in the new bracket. These do not fit very well and the end of the burner is somewhat loose, but at least fastened down to not come off. A shoddy job on my part. It also came with washers which I didn't really pay attention to until after I got the three front brackets put on. So the back brackets have washers on both sides of the screw. The better solution would have been to put the washer on the nut side for front and back brackets, but I didn't want to take the front brackets off again. For the price, the value is very good. You will definitely want to change brackets.

Not complete hardware missing screws for attaching to burner to back wall of grill. The pipe was not properly tooled and needed to be bent to fit. Two of the three burners did not work one did. All of the sparkers are working. Calling Char-Griller Monday to order OEM parts first time didn’t use OEM parts and got screwed.

Got the Chrome ones but they discolor after a few times, other than that does not affect the use, they work great and was definitely a good replacement

Would have given 5 stars, the grill would not light after installing burner tubes. The new burner tubes have adjustable air flow. Tried with the default setting and also tried adjusting. Still would not light. Had to clean old burner tubes and reinstall them. Shields and brackets worked fine. Also did not have the 3 screws needed to mount burner tubes on bracket.
