A great product let down by poor setup!!!!
I will address the only issue so far. It needs a firmware update immediately, but you can’t do it from the app! The app is the chink in the setup process. The device password will be rejected and setup will not continue. Set it up via the web page. 192.168.0.1 and update through here. It’s pretty self explanatory but for those expecting plug and play - or less tech savvy, you will need assistance. As for installation - it can be mounted to a wall or a pole. I mounted mine to a pole 1 1/4” wide and the supplied jubilee clips are too big to use. They are huge. As for execution as a 5g router - we have gone from an indoor 4g at 5Mbs to 5g at 135Mbs during peak times. Emits a lovely blue glow from the indicator lights. You will need 2 sockets free to power the outdoor antenna and the WiFi box. A good product but setup will frustrate those expecting plug and play operation.
