This 3mm macrame cord is exactly what I needed. The natural cotton feels soft but strong, and the rose red color is rich and consistent throughout. Came in a generous 220 yards, so I have plenty for multiple projects. It twists nicely and doesn’t fray easily. Perfect for wall hangings, plant hangers, and other crafts. Very happy with the quality!

***UPDATE DEC 6, 2024*** In my initial review for the beige color 5mm rope (for clarity, the beige looks natural but is labeled as beige), I stated how much I really liked this rope and that I'd probably need to order more later to make Christmas gifts. It's now December and I need to make more gifts. I still love the quality of the beige rope and I'm ready to order more; HOWEVER, unlike my FIRST ORDER that was DELIVERED IN 2 DAYS, NOW the DELIVERY TIME IS stretched out to between late December and January 4 which is TOO LONG/LATE. It's so disappointing to find a good product and not be able to get it on Prime's delivery schedule. You'd think if something is so popular, the seller would keep Amazon stocked. Oh well, I'm off to waste time searching for a substitute. *sad face* ****UPDATED REVIEW on Oct 17, 2024**** If I could remove a couple stars for the 5mm black rope, I would. I didn't realize I couldn't review the color selections separately. I purchased 5mm rope in 3 different colors - Beige, Bluish Green (which is actually listed as light green at other shops), and Black - from the Homebobo shop. All are good quality BUT the 5mm BLACK is NOTICEABLY THINNER (it's probably 4mm) when I compare my finished Potholders and when I compare the rope side by side with the beige rope (see pic). It's a little DISAPPOINTING. Color should NOT make a difference. If an item is listed as a certain size, labeled as that size, that's the size I expect to get when I buy it!!!! Other than that, it really is good quality rope but I wanted 5mm black for my potholders. A potholder should be thick to prevent burns but the black isn't as thick as the Bluish Green potholders that were made the exact same way with what was SUPPOSED to be the exact same size rope from the same Homebobo shop. The 5mm Beige and Bluish Green ARE 5mm and ARE the same thickness. I can't exchange the Black because I've used it but I thought I'd update my review so others will be aware. The price seemed fair and I'm very pleased with the beige and bluish green but DISAPPOINTED in the INCORRECT SIZING OF THE BLACK ROPE. : - ( Original Review: I'd been seeing trendy potholders for sale and wanted to make some so I taught myself to knit so I could knit the same Potholders using 5mm cotton macrame rope. It was easy to work with and gave beautiful results if I do say so myself (see photos). This is a good quality rope and sturdy. It is twisted so I'd advise tying a knot at the end of the unused spool to prevent it from untwisting into fringe; HOWEVER, IF your project requires fringe, this rope is perfect for brushing out into a very lovely fringe. I originally searched for 6mm cotton rope but had difficulty finding it and when I did, the price was a bit more than the 5mm. In the end, the 5mm was perfect for my knitted potholders. I will probably buy more rope to make Christmas gifts when I run out of the supply I have now. This rope can be used for many things. I bought some 3mm rope also but it's not thick enough for potholders (unless I use 2 strands) so I'll probably teach myself to make plant hangers with the 3mm rope. Bottom line... I like this rope and will purchase again.

Excellent threads! I think they're a little under-dyed, but that creates a really interesting effect. It's a pleasure to create with them. Very soft threads. Good size for weaving. the price is reasonable. large convenient size. No unpleasant odors whatsoever. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase; I'm a regular customer now.

This macrame cord worked perfectly for me. The quality is good and it holds the knots well. I like the weight and diameter of the cord. It was easy to work with and the finished product was perfect. It seemed to be well priced. With all the color choices, I am sure I will be buying it, again.
