Great signal boost in a compact design
This 915MHz whip antenna is a solid choice for LoRa or Meshtastic setups. It connected cleanly with no fuss and gave a noticeable boost in range compared to the stubby stock antennas that often come with development boards. The build quality feels decent for the price, and it has a clean look that doesn’t scream “DIY project.” One minor downside is that it’s a bit stiff, which is fine once it’s in place, but makes it feel like it could bend the connector if bumped too hard. Not really an issue for stationary setups, just something to be mindful of if you’re using it on a portable rig. Aside from that, performance has been consistently strong and reliable. For the price, it’s a worthwhile upgrade.

Perfect for 915 MHz Meshtastic nodes
I installed this on my window-mounted 915Mhz Meshtastic node. Install was very easy, the threads and antenna are high quality, the materials used to build this are very durable. The length of the antenna is perfect, not too long and very flexible. The improved reception allows my node to reach several nodes that my stock antenna had trouble with.

Buy it.
This antenna made ALL the difference. i was about to give up on mesh networks but this gave an immediate improvement over the stock antennas by a long shot. im hitting nodes 20 miles away with confirmed delivery. On a stock antenna i was hitting maybe 1 mile if i was lucky. Keep in mind that this is from a node sitting on my desk! No height involved. Crazy what a well tuned antenna can do!

Highly recommended by many, rightfully so
Highly recommended by many, and I can see why. I was excited to finally try one of these out and it does not disappoint. For only $12, the build quality is great. Performance is definitely great for this price point and size. Upon getting it this afternoon I immediately went to try it around town and there's been a great improvement over the stubby antennas. While a node might not be as pocket friendly with this antenna, clipped to my backpack or in the cars it's great. I will be using more of these in my mobile nodes.

The best small whip, as verified by a VNA and range testing
Many small LoRa antennas really aren't much better than a paperclip when it comes to presenting a 50 ohm match to the device. These antenna actually are a very good match, and the improvement in SNR is noticeable. Did I mention the reasonable price? It's my go-to for 915 MHz rubber duckie antennas.

Great upgrade for handheld LoRa Mesh radios
I can confirm this antenna is a great improvement for Mesh LoRa users in the 900 MHz band. Mechanically well made and just flexible enough. I like the materials and it has good tolerances. Get a nano VNA to take your RF skills to the next level and you can prove to yourself why this is a great antenna.

Noticeable Performance Boost Over Stock Antenna
I picked up this whip antenna to replace the stock stubby on my 915 MHz LoRa node, and it made an immediate difference. Where the original had an SWR of around 3.5, this whip measured around 1.3 SWR right out of the box using a NanoVNA. That’s a big leap in efficiency — over 95% of the RF is now actually radiating instead of being reflected back. Range and signal quality improved as well. I’m seeing better RSSI and more consistent packet delivery, especially in NLOS scenarios. The build is flexible but durable, and the SMA connection fits snugly with no wiggle. Just be mindful it’s a little longer than a stubby — about 17cm — so factor that in if you’re trying to keep a low profile. Value for money: Cant beat the range i got after it, worth every penny Range: Like I said, cant beat it unless you are running a meter long antenna. Then your not looking for portable, are ya.

Better range
Good antenna, noticable range/dbm improvement from the stock one my RAK came with
