Great value OLED
Firstly I would point out this is a Which? Best Buy so probably that will seal it for most folks as Which? test rigorously to compare and only the best get the Best Buy award. All LG OLED tvs are Best buys but this one is the so called entry level one - or the cheap one- but it is a quality product with a few niggles but the price compensates for this. At £799 (65 inch) it was a steal. Now is the best time to get a discounted 2024 version just as the 2025 ones come on sale and at about 2 grand for a newer model; it's a no brainer. Picture quality is as good as it gets to me and given it is sitting in a bright sunny room with multiple reflections it copes really well. Sound quality is also great but I attached my soundbar pretty swiftly after set up. I also was impressed with the stand which looks better in real life than in the photos. A previous lg tv I had had wobbly/ flimsy legs it was a miracle it never toppled over. I did encounter some issues with the web software as it conflicted with my fire stick but the apps themselves were responsive on the lg remote I found. Set up was reasonably easy I would suggest. I could not recommend this TV and OLEDs generally enough and believe LG are about the best out there if I had to pick a brand. To see sub £1000 OLEDs now makes them even more affordable than ever and a necessary upgrade.

OLED is amazing, still impressed months after purchase
Reviewing after 6 months of use. Easily one of the nicest TV’s I’ve owned. The OLED is crazily clear and bright for just 4K. The 55inch size is perfect for my living room setup, and meant it was easy to assemble / setup. The LG UI I have found is easy to navigate and has many if not all the streaming apps you would expect in this day and age and you have the key ones integrated into the remote buttons. Definitely recommended if your looking for a stunning TV in a small to mid-sized living room / bedroom etc.

Superb LG TV
Simply love the update to my half-smart previous TV. Prompt and secure delivery at excellent price. Relatively easy for this septuagenarian to set up with set-top box for live TV and internet for so many other options (too many actually!). Undoubtedly the best picture within this price range and superb sound - although I wish that there was better balance between the volume presented by the different channel options but that is probably down to the broadcasters.

Best tv at this price
Beautiful television for the price. £800 for a 65" OLED TV is an absolute bargain. Grab it while you can. These will all be gone as soon as the new model is out and is over twice the price. And you won't see an OLED this size for this price for another year. Not noticed any issues with the OS or slow menus but I didn't update the software. I'd always advise that you avoid software upgrades on these kinds of tvs. More often than not these tvs work great out the box with software designed specifically for the unit but then they start adding more and more bloat/fetures with every update and the TV starts alowing down. Just like smartphones. Works great with my PS5. Gaming is very smooth. The variable refresh rate works as it should with no flickering. 0 noticeable input lag as you would expect from an OLED. Picture is just fantastic, it's an LG OLED, slap it on filmmaker mode and turn off powersaving. Seen some youtube vids saying non 4k HD content upscaling isnt "the best" but it looks great to me. Maybe you'd notice the difference side by side with the C model. But I'm sitting about 1.5m away watching non 4k netflix and it looks perfect. No colour crushing/blocky blacks and the picture is clear. I used a 48" C3 daily before getting this 56" B4 i genuinely can't notice any difference in picture quality or the brightness (even though on paper this TV is less bright). For me the brightness is fine once powersaving is off. Don't expect good sound from the TV itself, like all new TVs they pretty much expect you to get a soundbar. Set up was very easy. Id advise to do it on your phone. Logging into your services was easy too, most have a qr code to scan on your phone's Camera that opens their respective app which asks for confirmation to log you in on the TV and that's it.

Lovely picture, good sound, fairly responsive to use
For context, I got this LG OLED after getting a 55" Samsung S95D which cost about 2.5x as much. The screen on the LG is nice and bright. It has all the apps I want built in - Disney+, Prime, NowTV + iPlayer etc. The responsiveness isn't as good as the Samsung, but that's understandable it's totally acceptable. While I use a sound bar with the TV, I did try it without and the sound was surprinsgly good - much better than I had expected (better than the Samsung I think). 4 HDMI sockets is worth having, 2 just isn't enough for many people (soundbar, Xbox, PVR, Bluray) I got the TV for £699 in the post-Christmas sales, and it represents excellent value for money. Definitely recommended

Pretty good tv
The picture quality is great, the home interface is easy and clear to navigate, connecting to my wifi was no trouble at all. The tv reacts to the remote inputs with no delay. My only problem is the gaming settings when I change to my ps5 the screen flashes between the ps5 Home Screen and a black screen multiple times like it can’t make its mind up what Hz to be on it lasts under 10 seconds before it makes its mind up but it’s annoying

Good picture, nightmare OS and remote
The TV is cool. Nice screen pretty good sound. Easy setup. The remote controller is nightmare. Numbers buttons are never used. No backlit Hard to use. I regret to buy it. Use Fire stick with its own remote. Cool!
