I'd love the series.And these are very well made, and this is a series that you should buy.And watch very age educational, but a lot of fun

This is a well done series. Mao Mao is a simple, very smart, and hard working girl with a bit of a sad background. She ends up having more influence than she could have ever imagined and she also takes no guff from anyone. It is a wonderful story based on history from this world and I find it quite believable.

I love this series! I saw it on Netflix. It’s lots of fun and a really good story. Netflix said there was nudity but there wasn’t. There were maybe 2 scenes at a communal bath with maomao and one of her sisters but the important parts of their anatomy were always covered. Maomao is like a Sherlock Holmes who loves poisons. There’s lots of humor but also some serious moments when she reveals the truth of things she’s experienced. There are grown up themes throughout the series that I personally wouldn’t recommend for young viewers. Even though I bought both Blu-ray of season 1 on sale, I still thought they were kind of expensive. But I still bought them cuz I loved it that much. I can’t wait for the next season!

I watched both seasons on Crunchyroll and decided to buy it. Absolutely amazing show.

A female Sherlock Holmes in a reimagined china. This series is great it has mystery, drama, political intrigue, societal issues and comedy with the dash of romance-what’s not to love? I love the story so much I dabbled in all three mediums: the anime, the manga, and the light novels they are all worth a try.

I appreciate how fast delivery was. I was impressed with the level of warnings on the disc set it did address that it was for adult mature audiences, that it have “mental health” mentioned in it, and my cat, Fluffy literally was engrossed and watching it with me.

I randomly bought this anime, unsure I would like it. Mainly because I thought the cover looked weird. However I ended up really enjoying it. I also bought part 2 which mentiones that season 2 has been planned at the end of it. It’s a really good anime that also cute and funny in places.

Excellent historic fantasy. The main character, Maumau, is brilliant. The historic selling is superb and complimented by the drama and humour of each episode. Part 2 on order. Looking forward to ordering series 2 & 3 (if there is one).

Amazing story, beautiful animation, a must have for anyone who loves historical fiction anime.

A great anime and is worth owning. I have already watched it twice and will watch it again. Physical ownership still beats digital.
