The NEEWER CB120B 120W LED COB (Chip on Board) Video Light is extremely bright, easy to use, and well-built. I wish it came with a case like some other lights, but the box (with a handle on top) will suffice for now. If you aren’t familiar with this kind of light, you might be surprised by its size, as it is fairly large. This is helpful when using a Bowens mount softbox, as smaller lights sometimes don’t hold up to the weight. It has a quick adjustment lever; just make sure you are holding onto the light’s handle, as it has a tendency to flop forward (this isn’t unusual, but detents/ratchet would be nice, though I’m sure many people would rather have an infinite number of positions for the light). If you are using basic lighting stands, a sandbag is a must to ensure it doesn’t tip over. Another great feature is the Neewer app. Wow! It took seconds to connect to my light, and the controls were simple to use. You can change the intensity, color, and select effects. You can even match the color of another light with a single tap–so much better than fiddling with dials. It should be noted that this light has a strong hot spot when used with the included reflector, but since I use diffusers, softboxes, book lighting, etc… that really isn’t an issue. At this price point, I’m not complaining. This is an excellent addition to anyone’s lighting setup. It’s strong enough to be a solid key light, versatile enough to be used in other applications, and easy to use. The CB120B is a great light all around.

Its very bright, perfect for film sets and social media. Ive been using this with the app and it makes it really simple to use without having to touch the light constantly.

This is honestly the best light I’ve ever used. As a content creator, lighting makes a huge difference and this light takes my videos to a whole new level. It’s super bright, easy to adjust, and makes everything look professional. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it!

I use it with a honeycomb diffuser, and it’s worth noting that diffusers like this require more light output than you might expect—thankfully, this light delivers! The app control and Neewer’s consistent quality make it a standout choice. Very impressed and highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable, powerful key light.

No manual/instructions (even on the website) and now I’m left with broken plastic! I bought everything Neewer: a light (CB120B), stainless steel stand, and a 35” softbox, thinking that everything would be seamless, but I think this light has serious issues. The handle that tightens the yoke was useless in holding up the soft box so I tried to tighten the hex bolt (pictured). It did NOTHING! I tightened it a bit more and the plastic fitting cracked right through. I advise the seller to: - Toughen up this handle. This should hold twice this amount of weight for the price. - Include a clear weight limit to the description of this light, to your soft boxes, or, preferably, to both. - Include a paper manual with this product. Not even a web version is on your website? Come on! As far as I’m concerned, the light itself is useless if you can’t point it where you want!

Used it on 3-4 shoots to date; the output is very good and it is a nice companion to my Aputure 300D. Recommended.

Well packaged. When use, easy to mount and adjust on tripod and connect to Bowen modifiers. The control panel is intuitive. Will try the mobil app control soon.
