All these features, combined with thick, sturdy puzzle pieces makes this puzzle an excellent set to work with. The pieces fit snugly together that you can pick the puzzle up without it falling apart. As a result of this it is much harder to dismantle or separate the puzzle when you are ready to put it away. I saw this as a positive and decided to frame my puzzle for a lovely statement piece and conversation starter. I highly recommend Galison puzzles for families. My elementary aged child was able to quickly assemble this one by herself in a few hours. It makes an excellent gift for cat lovers and puzzle lovers.
