Does it fit presta valves on bikes?

No - but you can easily get an adaptor. I use mine with Presta valves On 3 bikes as well as standard tyre valves. Use mine with a Workforce compressor from Aldi

Yes. Batteries were in. And it’s the best of its type I have used. Bought a cheap one 12 months ago and it broke immediately. You pay for what you get.....

Yes, it needs to be worked with a compressor to inflate a tire.

What is the 1/4" npt quick-connect male? is it us or eu style?

The male connection would be on your compressor hose. The connector on this device is female. It can accept either a 1/4 or 1/2 male connection. I have a German Compressor and it connects fine. I don't know what the difference is with the EU or US style, however, I dont have an issue with any of the interchangeable tools I use with the compressor. I have to say that Digital Tyre inflator is a really good tool that I use on my 5 vehicles regularly.
