Got the fabric then got out my voltmeter and three-prong circuit tester, an extension cord and some wire. I just laid it across my bottom sheet, wrapped a corner w/bare wire and plugged it into the earth ground of a power outlet (having checked to make sure it was wired correctly first!). Earth ground is the round connector in three pronged outlets if it is wired correctly - always check first though!Slept on it last night and this morning the first thing I noticed was that my joints didn't ache like they usually do in the morning. Honestly - at least a 30-40% decrease in pain. I don't have arthritis (as far as I know) but I'm old and creaky and this fabric, hooked to earth ground, really did something for me. Will order more soon for family and friends.I was going to try a grounding 'kit' but all were too expensive for what you get and included stuff already around the house - voltmeter, wire, alligator clips, etc. This fabric is a good deal and feels sort of like linen - a bit stiff (not washed yet) but not uncomfortable at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best way to earth a bed, and one of the more affordable options *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2018* Getting a good ground connection can be difficult, and after years of failure I've found the only way that has worked for me is running a copper grounding strap out of a *first floor* window and straight in to the ground. This avoids possible stray currents from an outlet ground connection. If the bed is on the *second* floor, unfortunately the person might become an antenna and be better off not grounding the bed at all (check out how ham radio operators ground second floor equipment to see how difficult it is). This piece of fabric is then connected along one edge to the grounding strap with binder clips, which makes it easy to remove and wash, and also gives it multiple connection points. This is an improvement over sheets with the button-type connector that sometimes touches only a single silver thread that hopefully doesn't break. Checked if my body was grounded with a modified outlet checker, and I am solidly grounded with this setup. Also muscle soreness from intense exercise doesn't last as long and doesn't get as intense.This is a great product, but it still has to be set up effectively to work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Grounding Option *by U***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2017* This material is conductive (as I have tested it using a meter) and has a comfortable surface just like bed sheets. I can subtly feel the grounding energy coming off of it. I haven't felt muscle aches or inflamed since starting to use it.
