Whatever you do, dont let your husband use sub-ohm coils whilst he's using 18mg, it would be way, way too harsh(blow you head off harsh!) Sub- ohm coils(0.2, 0.5, even the 1.0ohm coils)hugely amplify the "hit" you get when vaping. On these kinds of coils, I wouldn't go above 6mg max in nicotine strength. If he has an innokin tank, an isub, isub g etc, then I would recommend their 2.0 Ohm coils only. They are ideal for mouth to lung vaping, and those on high nicotine levels. As your husband reduces his nic levels over time, and most vapers do, then he can try the lower resistance, more powerful coils.
