Super easy to install and use! Very sturdy, works well with our door but did run a bit at first due to the thickness, but our door still opens and shuts fine. I love the sleek look of it and it’s very secure. Gives me peace of mind.

This lock was easy to install and feels very sturdy. The package includes two locks, which is an excellent value for the price A very good option for added security.

These actually do a good job. There's rubber on the stop to protect the door. They flip out pretty easily. Just get it where you want and line it up so you can slip a piece of paper in between the stop and the door then mark it and install it. Got them as toddler safety locks but also figuring they double for extra security like a deadbolt. I put them 66 inches from ground, centered. Can't wait to be locked out of my own house!

the locks are pretty good construction and function, but the hardware is sub-par at best. The heads of the screws that are used to secure to the door frame are not form fitting to the recesses counter-sunk into the bulkhead for the locks. they slide through the holes actually when not pre-drilled to match the holes drilled into the part of the lock that is secured to the door frame. Things very important to take into account is if your door frame is worn out, this 800lb rating is going to be subjected to the integrity of the door frame, which if split, or damaged, will not meet the 800lb rating of these hinge locks. To truly achieve a load rating of 800lb, confirm the load force the door frame can be subjected to! These work just as easily and effectively as you see on other videos. Simple design. Super easy to install even though I had to chisel away at door jamb to make room for one ( be sure you test the fit / function of lock before you start drilling holes just as the instructions say ). However I agree with what many others say: the included screws are awful. The heads strip whether you use powered driver or handheld screwdriver. Do yourself a favor and use different ones.
