This camera has already caught a trespass in our garden. It's easy to set up. Easy to use. The app allows for access no matter where you are. All in all a fantastic system. I have it set to PIR Activated recording and in that mode to included solar panel is more than enough to keep it running. It's on 24/7 and the battery is actually gaining power. Can not recommend this camera any more highly.

you only get what you pay for and this is a really good piece of kit. its directional you can point it where you like, it has levels of tracking three categories, first is people second is vehicles third is animals. and you can ajust the level of tracking. great little camera

Bought this camera to replace my existing Argus 2, and it is a definite improvement as it has pan & tilt. Old camera was 2K this one is 4K, but I have to admit even on the highest setting it is not really that noticeable in definition. The colour night vision is a good improvement also. This is the biggest capacity battery camera that Reolink make, so I am hoping that along with the 6w solar panel, charging should be a thing of the past. time will tell. Well, that didn't take long. 2 days in full sunlight with PIR & recording turned off, and it still lost 30% of it's battery from fully charged ! Not good enough Reolink ! Returned for a refund. It really has me perplexed, even with all the settings on minimum and the features turned off, it still does not hold it's power. It could be that it is just a faulty item, or that it should have been shipped with the 12w panel. Only thing I can put it down to is the ColourX night vision causing the problem. A real shame it had such potential.

Just installed today so far so good time will tell how good. Remember to fully charge battery before use and pray for sunshine. It’s well build solid ptz is couple seconds behind but common with Reolink. Picture quality is really good

I have bought 8 various Reolink cameras in the last 5 years for installation in different locations. Overall I am reasonably happy with them. 1 failed due to water ingress from rain. This one has issues as outlined below. (1)The 6 watt solar panel is not large enough for most of Northern Europe even in summer. (2) There is a 12w version (known as Solar panel 3) of the solar panel available but this is NOT available in the pack. It costs an extra £47.49 which I am not willing to pay as this should have been in the standard pack for UK and most of Europe. (3)There is a serious issue with the FIRMWARE when the PIR motion sensor is turned off and the camera stops recording in ALL modes. (4)When the auto tracking is turned off to save battery power all recording stops. (5 )Auto tracking got stuck in the left position. Overall not recomended till issues are fixed. I have to return this model as I am not pleased.

I purchased the Reolink 4K Solar Camera Outdoor Wireless Altas PT specifically for outdoor security, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. While the specifications look impressive on paper, real-world outdoor performance is quite poor. The biggest issue is image visibility in rainy or cold weather. In such conditions, the camera’s screen view becomes very limited, with noticeably reduced clarity and usability. For an outdoor camera, this is a serious drawback. I have used other outdoor camera models under the same conditions, and none performed as inefficiently as this one. Although the solar-powered feature sounds like a strong advantage, charging efficiency drops significantly during cloudy or low-sunlight periods. This negatively affects reliability and continuous operation. Additionally, motion detection and PT (pan & tilt) tracking become inconsistent in bad weather, which further reduces trust in the system for security purposes. Installation and app usage are acceptable, but a decent app cannot compensate for weak outdoor performance. An outdoor security camera should function reliably in all weather conditions, and this model fails to do so. Pros: • 4K resolution in good weather conditions • Solar-powered and wireless design • PT (pan & tilt) functionality • App interface is fairly easy to use Cons: • Very poor image visibility in rainy or cold weather • Not reliable for true outdoor use • Solar charging efficiency is inconsistent • Motion detection and tracking are unreliable in bad conditions I do not recommend this camera for outdoor use. Compared to other products I have used, this is the least efficient outdoor camera in real-life conditions. It may work in ideal weather, but for dependable outdoor security, there are much better alternatives available.

Excellent camera captures a good amount of footage and records any movement and can monitor on my fone. Makes me feel safer living on my own can see who at my door before having to open door and put myself at risk. Allows me to speak to people outside and has a light I can put on and an alarm to sound to scare of potential intruders.

Really easy to set up & operate great quality

Compré dos cámaras y una salió con un desperfecto de no poder girar hacia arriba y hacia abajo con el tiempo, la tienda Full Moon Miracles Shop me apoyó en compartirme los elementos ahora solo espero la marca Reolink me termine de apoyar. En general la cámara es muy buena y vale bastante la pena.

Zum Akku: Endlich eine Kamera, deren Akku nicht gleich schwächelt. Bislang hatte ich die Reolink Argus 3 Pro im Einsatz, die ich jetzt an einem anderen Ort einsetze. Die Argus 3 Pro hatte allerdings in den kalten Monaten immer Probleme mit dem Akku, den auch ein 6 Watt Panel nicht ausreichend laden konnte. Völlig anders die Atlas PT Ultra. Diese hängt auch am mitgelieferten 6-Watt-Panel mit Süd-West-Ausrichtung. Vor Montage wurde die Kamera zunächst auf 100% geladen und ist nun seit einigen Tagen in Betrieb. Die Bewegungserkennung wurde auf sehr sensibel gestellt. Es wird also viel aufgezeichnet. Der Akku ist ununterbrochen bei 100% Da ich in den nächsten Tagen verreise, sehe ich von der Voraufzeichnung erst einmal ab. Ich möchte diesbezüglich kein Risiko eingehen. Nach meiner Rückkehr werde ich dieses Feature testen und das Ergebnis meiner Beurteilung anfügen. Zur Installation: Völlig problemlos war die Einrichtung der Kamera. Ich habe eine 256 GB SanDisk Extreme Pro eingebaut und die Kamera in der App angemeldet. Absolut Easy! Weitere Sicherheits-Konfiguration: Zusätzlich habe ich die Aufzeichnung auf meinen Server via FTP konfiguriert. Sollte also irgendjemand glauben, durch Diebstahl oder Zerstörung der Kamera die Aufzeichnungen zu vernichten, wird das nicht gelingen. Zur Bildqualität: Die Bildqualität ist beeindruckend. Gestochen scharfe Bilder. Extrem lichtstarkes Objektiv. Selbst nachts erfolgt die Aufzeichnung IN FARBE ohne die LEDs einzuschalten. Sensationell. PT-Funktion: Die Kamera bewegt sich schnell und verfolgt erkannte Objekte zuverlässig. Ich habe mehrere Punkte konfiguriert, die die Kamera sehr schnell anfährt. So ist mir ein schneller Überblick auch ohne Bewegungserkennung möglich. Sehr gut gelöst von Reolink. Was geht besser: Optimal wäre die Kamera, wenn es eine PTZ wäre und erkannte Objekte auch gezoomt werden könnten oder automatisch gezoomt würden. . Wunschkonzert: Das mitgelieferte Panel mit 6 Watt ist bei Konfiguration der Voraufzeichnung höchstwahrscheinlich unterdimensioniert, wenn es nicht in direkter Südlage ausgerichtet werden kann. Hier sollte Reolink bei Bestellung die Möglichkeit für ein Upgrade einräumen, um gegen einen akzeptablen Mehrpreis ein 12-Watt-Panel zu erhalten. Gerade bei der stromfressenden Vorabaufzeichnung ist das eigentlich das Minimum. Ansonsten wird die Werbeaussage nicht eintreffen. Dazu aber später mehr.

I have been using this camera for about one month. Super easy to set up. The 360° function is highly versatile. Night picture is very good. Wifi is of no issues. Battery is good. Software is good. Only negative is the difficulty to read license plates but camera is slightly higher mounted than manufacturer recommended. Update: Once the weather reaches close to freezing temperaures the battery starts to deplete and the solar panel is not able to charge the unit. It's February and battery is at 0%.

Después de unos días de prueba resulta que grabando 24/24 el panel solar es insuficiente para mantener la batería cargada. Lo que consume la batería durante el tiempo sin sol es mas cantidad que lo que carga el panel solar estando al sur y en Cataluña. Con esta experiencia el soporte técnico me ha contactado y me ha informado que han notado mis sugerencias como las de otros clientes y un panel mas potente de 12W (el doble) debería estar disponible en los 2-3 próximos meses. Mientras sigo comprobando el funcionamiento y parámetros de la cámara. Esto me hace reconocer de nuevo la profesionalidad del producto y del equipo de soporte. Por lo demás: Conocí la marca hace poco con otro modelo que compré y desde entonces estoy encantado. Podéis leer mi reseña del modelo Argus Track. Este modelo tiene una super batería, 20000mAh y el modo de grabación 24/24. Lo he puesto incluyendo una sensibilidad al 100% y desde las 12h00 hoy que son las 18h00 la batería sigue al 100%, claro cargando con el panel solar. A este modelo que parece ser el más reciente el zoom es digital y comparando con la Argus Track que compré hace poco es el día y la noche. Este modelo permite una micro SD de 512 y confirmo que la reconoce sin problemas. La calidad 4k sin zoom es espectacular pero merecería un mejor zoom. El modo noche es sólo en color y a mi me falla en un sitio, estaría bien también la opción de blanco y negro. Si Reolink me lee, sería genial que para la próxima versión le pongáis un zoom HIBRIDO o ÓPTICO Y UN PANEL SOLAR DE MAS CAPACIDAD. De nuevo, encantado con la marca y la profesionalidad de los equipos, incluyendo la aplicación tanto en Android como en Windows (también en Apple). He cambiado mis cámaras Chinas por éstas y merece la inversión si buscáis algo profesional. Ahora a seguir comprobando como aguantan las baterías de estos 2 modelos con el tiempo y la falta de sol.

Excellent quality product. Good build quality and features. The best is that it can prerecord events before being triggered. Yes, this uses more power but is worth it. It is shipped with the 6w solar panel which struggled to keep the camera charged at 100%. After 2 weeks I decided to upgrade the panel to the new 12w version. The new 12w panel has no trouble keeping the camera charged even in lower light conditions. I hope they decide to add the 12w solar panel with the cameras sometime in the future.
