I have a small apartment and had a small desk, however, I love making music, writing, and editing videos. The setup I had just wasn't cutting it spatially. I had end tables and clunky bookshelves acting as storage for me, making everything extremely cluttered and unorganized. I was losing the motivation to sit at my desk to create anything because I would feel literally, thus, creatively smooshed. I decided to look at desks which include storage on Amazon. I wanted one that would have enough space to hold my printer, midi key-board some books, and commonly used office supplies. I found this L shaped desk, which is PERFECT. The lights looked amazing too. Very heavy. I live on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I paid some dude $5 (probably unnecessary) to assist me in carrying it up to my place (necessary). The instructions were easy to read. I took everything out of the box first so I would know what I had before looking at the instructions, which claim you NEED two people to put this desk together - but I did it alone. The instructions call for this to be assembled upside down. If I had done that, I probably WOULD have needed another person to flip it and finished the final steps, but I simply assembled it with the desk up-right the whole time and it turned out perfectly. The lights work, the power strip works. My printer fits. My midi fits. My monitors are now the same level. I have room to write. I was able to donate 3 of my storage-providing end tables and a bookshelf. My place feels so much bigger and I feel less cluttered, and more motivated. It's amazing. For the price, I can't think of a reason to say no to this desk. The only thing that was a bummer about the assembly is that you really can't use a screw driver. So, your arms may be tired after :) But it comes with everything you need to make it. I'm not very experienced with furniture assembly, and this took me about 3 hours. I honestly had a blast watching it come together. If you're patient and pay attention to the details, you can assemble this desk no matter who you are and then look super cool when you're working on things! I also think it will be easy to disassemble it in such a way that it's easy to reassemble - for when I decide I want a bigger apartment and prepare to move.One of my favorite purchases, hands down.

They’re very useful for connecting my laptop and other electronic devices. Although my desk is a bit cluttered at the moment, it helps save space by accommodating all my books and journals. As long as you follow the instructions, the desk and its parts remain stable. It functions well as a work area regardless of the subject, and it has become my main hub in the room. I work from home and do not generate paperwork so I didn’t need a bunch of drawers or desktop space. It is a smaller size and I had to get used to that, but it fits perfectly in the corner of my office with the side rolling cart next to it to match. The surface is not smooth so writing directly on top is not advised. The leg space difference is only 36”while seated so if you like to swivel your legs freely to get up from your chair, you will bang your knees until you find your groove! Lesson learned. The top shelves/ledges are only 7” deep so I have my laptop on a tilted stand and it hangs over an inch on both sides but it’s staying in place. I have two 22” monitors placed at the “V”, but there is some wasted space behind so I put a small subwoofer there…not really wasted. My big desktop cpu fits well on the one side and I added another power strip on the shelf below the desk surface (great footrest shelf too but I’m only 5’4”!). The four surface outlets for plugs is great and two USB ports are nice to have for my Bluetooth headphones but the other is needed for the desk gaming lights. No big deal. It’s sturdy and the gaming lights are fun but I just leave one color on and not hooked up to the app. No need for it. I put it together myself with bigger tools than they provide. It took a few hours on a Saturday and I’m overall pleased with it. They provided one additional screw of each type, that was nice.

It's a lot smaller than it looks and it's very cheap. It fell apart right after it came out of the box and we had to manage with a table we were unable to put together properly. I'm not thrilled about the price, considering we were never able to fully assemble it due to broken and missing pieces. It was meant to be used as a desk in a business and it just wasn't up to par for that. I regret buying and it took so long to get to me, that the return window had passed by the time it was delivered.

I mainly wanted an "L" shaped computer desk that was edgy but not over the top. I love the power outlets on top and the LED lighting with remote. This is classified as a gaming desk, but it is elegant enough to be used for home office as well. I don't have any issues except I wish it was maybe 8 to 12 inches longer on both sides. It is a tad smaller than I expected which is ok. This will make a great desk for home office or gamer who wants the "L" shape but also constrained on space, or you can purchase 2 and place them together for a modern looking "U" shape. It looks good and it's sturdy. Recommended purchase!
