Please Note That The Following Individual Books As Per Original ISBN and Cover Image In this Listing shall be Dispatched Collectively: Star Wars: Essential Legends Collection Darth Bane Trilogy Books Set By Drew Karpyshyn: Star Wars: Darth Bane - Path of Destruction: On the run from vengeful Republic forces, Dessel, a cortosis miner, vanishes into the ranks of the Sith army and ships out to join the bloody war against the Republic and its Jedi champions. There Dessel's brutality, cunning, and exceptional command of the Force swiftly win him renown as a warrior. But in the eyes of his watchful masters, a far greater destiny awaits him. Star Wars: Darth Bane - Rule of Two: Darth Bane's twisted genius made him a natural leader among the Sith-until his radical embrace of an all-but-forgotten wisdom drove him to destroy his own order . . . and create it anew from the ashes. As the last surviving Sith, Darth Bane promulgated a harsh new directive: the Rule of Two. Two there should be; no more, no less. One to embody the power, the other to crave it. Star Wars: Darth Bane - Dynasty of Evil: Twenty years have passed since the Sith and their endless rivalries were eradicated and replaced with the Rule of Two. Darth Bane now reigns alongside his young acolyte, Zannah, who must study and train in the dark side of the Force until the time comes to strike down her master and claim the mantle for herself. But Bane's brutal new regime has one potential fatal flaw-how will their legacy continue if an apprentice fails. Review: The best and darkest SW books I've ever read!(If there's anything darker PLEASE tell me) - Drew Karpyshyn accomplishes so much as an author in the Darth Bane trilogy! He's written unique and compelling characters(villains and anti-heroes) who all attempt to seize power in their own ways during the final years of the Old Republic. The main characters are so compelling and so committed to their vision that despite the deplorable and savage acts they do(they are Sith Lords after all) you just can't help but root for them the entire time, even as they unleash their devastation on completely innocent lives in the most brutal ways. There is so much to love and so much to gloat about in this series but I want to avoid details because the story really packs a punch if you go in completely blind and hopefully having NOTHING spoiled for you already. I could NOT put these books down and just kept reading because I NEEDED to know the fate of these characters. The story is that good. If you have been craving a darker exploration of the Sith mythology in SW lore or have always wanted to experience a "r-rated/horror" themed Star Wars story this trilogy will deliver that in spades and then some. In a lot of ways it feels like the evolution of a series written by an author who not only understands the essence of what made us all love this universe in the first place, but how to evolve it in ways that actually work! I can't believe that I had put off reading these books for so many years but having been let down by the Disney era SW content(to each their own/I'm personally not a fan of their stories) this satisfied that craving I've had for GOOD SW content. It's out there and for me, its not only this trilogy but most of the awesome stories I've only now been catching up on in the Legends library. If you're a SW fan and have not read this trilogy yet, just do yourself a favor and buy these books already. You'll be mad you haven't done it sooner. I highly recommend you read these books!
Great books! A must read for Star wars fans, and a great end to the old republic. I love the new cover art, but do be aware this is the UK printing and is a bit smaller than the US printing as shown in the photo above with the Darth Plagueis novel.

Loved it! No spoilers
Excellent story and writing style! I am midway through the last book. I have enjoyed every page in this collection so far. I wish Disney would turn it into a big screen trilogy as well. With "The Rock" taking the lead in Darth Bane's role 🤭🤩 Love the new covers as well! The wife saw the books and said back to me: "Since when are you into Japanese Anime?" 😅 Excellent work Drew, God bless you! 🤗

This is an example of one of those beautiful gems that weren’t necessarily lost when the Disney takeover essentially wiped away decades of Star Wars lore. Because Darth Bane is canon in the new Star Wars universe, these books can be enjoyed without worrying that it’s not relevant to the wider, current context. And since Darth Bane and the broader events around him are indeed canon, and have not been replaced by another story, you can sit back and be completely enthralled by the author’s skill. Karpyshyn’s intricately crafted work that brings to life how Darth Bane came into being, is so satisfying, and I found myself so engrossed, that I finished the book in just a few days. Honestly, he is breathtakingly talented, and I am so happy to have decided to jump into this trilogy. Bane’s transformation is completely believable, and as somehow both the villain and the hero simultaneously, is a testament to the author’s sheer ability to create something very special. I have already started book two, and unfortunately I’m gobbling that one up at an even faster pace! Damn you, Drew Karpyshyn! 😉
