I bought this knife to replace one that I have lost, possibly in dustbin. I was lost without it as I use it for almost everything apart for chopping and carving. It is small and sharp (and easy to keep sharp). It was delivered so quickly that I hardly missed my old one.

purchased this to replace one I had dropped onto hard tiles, and the blade had snapped. A shame it broke to begin with, but most knives would've. I love the global knives, this one is easy to use, great for vegetable and fruits, peeling is a breeze. My husband however, has large hands so he tends to stick to the 11cm.

Great knife, only criticism is the handle is a bit on the small side for my big hands but that's the same for any knife!

I bought it at a really good price from Trepolar, the paring knife GSF 15 at 26 gbp. THE delivery is really fast, 3 days from US to UK, and the knife is in awesome condition. Just had a test cutting, it is super sharp, seamless and very comfortable in my hand as well, a kitchen must have. Very happy with the purchase, thank you.

I knew this product was excellent as it was one of a set we had but had lost this particular knife. My wife was going demented over it's loss, and potatoes were rotting by the ton as she refused to peel them with any other knife. The end arrive by date came and went and to preserve marital harmony I had to contact the seller. They replied promptly, investigated and then sent out a replacement. I am not inclined to blame the sender for the delay I suspect our knife became a Royal Mail casualty, but happily all is now well, my wife is happy, and I may overdose on potatoes as she overcomes her withdrawal pangs by peeling to excess. To those who have never owned a Global knife then nearly £40 may seem OTT to peel the spuds. Once you have owned Global knives however you are unlikely to ever want to use a cheap knife again. Our set of 6 varying Global knives is now complete again. The knife block no longer has an aching space where a knife used to be. The little one has returned and all is well with the world.

It looks lovely but i wouldn't recommend it if mines any indication of the quality. I expected it to keep it's edge as well as my other global knives but the GSF-15 seems to go blunt in minutes.

This is a brilliant peeling knife. At first it seems too sharp, but after getting used to it is fine. It is very easy to peel apples with.

...ein perfektes Messer! Als Betriebsleiter in einem großen Gastronomiebetrieb lege ich nicht nur im Beruf sondern auch im Privatem wert auf ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis von Qualität und Preis. Nachdem unsere Köche unbedingt Global Messer für den Betrieb nutzen wollten und diese dann auch bekamen, konnte ich mich bereits dort vpn der ausserordentlichen Qualität und Langlebigkeit der Messer überzeugen. Sie sind nun im Betrieb seit 2 Jahren im Dauerbetrieb und funktionieren immer noch Einwandfrei. (Man muss hier natürlich hinzufügen: funktionieren einwandfrei, weil sie ordentlich gepflegt werden, d.h. regelmäßig geschliffen, nie in die Spülmaschine..usw.) Auf Grund dieser Erfahrung nutze ich die Messer nun auch privat und sie überzeugen. Neben dem GSF-15 habe ich privat noch das G-5 und G-2. Sie liegen auf Grund der Gewichtsverteilung perfekt in der Hand und schneiden wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Das Messer nutze ich nicht nur zum Schälen, sondern auch zum Schneiden von Obst und Gemüse. Ebenso für Garnituren, welche auf Grund der Schärfe und Handhabung sehr gut gelingen. Dies führt jedoch zu einer Warnung meinerseits an unerfahrene Hobbyköche. Die Messer sind Profimesser, sie sind wirklich sehr scharf. Wer also nicht weiß, wie er sach- und fachgerecht mit so einem Messer umgehen kann und muss, sollte eher zu einem anderen Messerfabrikat greifen. Evtl. Zwilling mit breiterem Schaft und Klinge. Man kann sich wirklich sehr schnell mit diesem Messer schneiden und das endet auf Grund der Schärfe mehr als unangenehm. Zu dem oben genannten Punkt Qualität-Preisverhältnis: Wenn ich das Messer mit anderen Messern namhaften Messerproduzenten vergleiche, ist das Preis-Qualitätsverhältnis hier mehr als gut. Mehr muss man dazu gar nicht sagen!

Exactly what I was looking for ! I currently own many global chef knives, so I was looking for a paring knife to complete the set

I had purchased this knife a while back and somehow misplaced it. I tried using one of my other knives but they just didn't make the mark so I found this same knife and purchased it again. It is the best paring knife I have every owned!!!! You will never regret your purchase but caution, it is very sharp and stays sharp!!

Excellent product, replacing a knife that was lost from the Global knife block set.
