DJI Osmo Helmet Chin Mount Clip

I’ve been using the DJI Osmo Helmet Chin Mount Clip for a bit now, and it does exactly what you’d expect from an official DJI accessory.The biggest advantage is the **point-of-view angle** — mounting it on the chin gives a really natural, “see what you see” perspective, which makes footage look much more immersive compared to side or top mounts. This chin mount is an excellent bit of kit. The spring based clamping system is so strong that it takes a decent effort to open. This gives you piece of mind that it will stay attached at "motorway speeds" officer.It grips the chin of my full face helmet so tight that there is no chance of it coming off, while at the same time it doesn't damage the surface of the helmet, which is brilliant.There is great adjustability with the usual DJI camera mount. Honestly it's just a robust, well designed chin mount which does exactly what you want it to do. Highly recommend.

Works great and fits my full face helmet nicely. Strong grip and no chance of slipping off at speed. Fyi. It’s basically a stong oversized clothes peg so yo can use is on anything you can clip it to like backpack straps etc

The built quality is really good and it grips very well onto the helmet. The problem I have is that it presses into your chest when you attempt to look down and it doesn't seem to be very compatible with the osmo 360 camera as mentioned because it blocks the view a bit. The product is definitely well built though.

The clip is really well made and solid. It is quick and secure to fit. The only downside I find is the extra weight on the helmet, but it is easy to remove if not filming.I am happy with the purchase...

Really good clip fits all helmets with chin surround. I use it on my motorbike but also taken Go-Karting. Really good grip and solid. No worries if it ever coming off due to strength of grip

This was the perfect edition for my Osmo action 3 camera, I clip this to the chin piece of my motorcycle helmet and I mount DJI mic mini on the inside and the camera on the outside, when I want to remove it, I just simply unclip and the whole thing, camera, microphone, and mount comes away easily, it stays in place when you want it to, which is the most important thing. Great value for money highly recommended.

A great way to temporarily mount your camera with leaving stick on mounts ruining the look of your helmet the rest of the time.It has a very firm and secure grip and stays perfectly in place, even at motorway speeds in gusty wind conditions.The only issues I found were the need for additional mounting arms to allow a useful angle on my helmet (Simpson Venom) and that the chin curtain does get slightly mishapen if you don't remove it prior to use.Very minor points really, would definitely recommend this to those wanting occasional helmet mounting, or for use on different helmets. Can also be used on bag straps and top pockets on jackets if used with a ball-jointed mounting.

Love this - using with the action 4 on a dirt bike helmet. Simple easy clamp (strong clamping power) to put on or remove and mounts very solid - dirt bike vids look great.

Ich nutze den Clip mit einer DJI Osmo Action 6 und das funktioniert sehr gut. Mithilfe eines zusätzlichen Verlängerung der Halterung kann man die Kamera weit nach oben neigen wodurch man die Straße und den Tacho vom Motorrad bei gebäugter Haltung trotzdem perfekt sieht. Die Halterung sitzt wirklich bombenfest und der Helm bekommt trotzdem keine Kratzer. Ich bin schon über 250 km/h damit gefahren und es ist nichts verrutscht. Die Beweglichkeit wird beim nach unten gucken etwas eingeschränkt, aber man gewöhnt sich wirklich schnell daran. Ich würde die Halterung wieder kaufen. Ideal, wenn man mehrere Helme hat oder keine Lust hat eine Klebehalterung zu nutzen.

Je suis enchanté par cet achat. Utilisé avec une GoPro hero 7 black.J'y ai ajouté une petite extension de fixation afin de pouvoir incliner suffisamment la caméra une fois montée à la mentonnière (en effet, cette fixation est à la base faite pour l'action cam DJI mais en rusant un peu, ça passe avec la GoPro).Le gros avantage est qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de coller ou fixer définitivement le support au casque, un vrai + car permet de préserver l'esthétique et l'intégrité du casque une fois que l'on a terminé de filmer !
