This thing works insanely well. I hadn’t even had it open for 5 minutes before it started catching fruit flies. I could literally see them going straight into it. Super easy to set up, no mess, and it started working almost instantly. I put it on the windowsill and within minutes it was clearly doing its job. If you’re dealing with fruit flies, this is absolutely worth it. Would definitely buy again.

I tried 3 different brands of liquid fruit fly attractant: in this home for 25 yrs but had never had a fruit fly problem in my life, they must have come in w/fruit which we don't buy a lot of: found out one female lays 500 eggs...This product, Super Ninja Fruit fly traps- I put several of these pre-filled bottles out for days but SUPER NINJA FRUIT FLY TRAPS DID NOT CATCH A SINGLE FRUIT FLY, compared to Terro brand used in the red plastic tomatoes, which worked well. I even tried the Super Ninja bait in the red Terro plastic tomatoe containers as some ads claimed the color + shape of the vessel played a role in attracting bugs but still no luck. The excellent Terro brand even worked well in a clear glass baby food jar. Terro works well, I see several of the fruit flies in the liquid. However, the tomatoe shaped plastic holders can tip easy, its a sticky, stinky liquid for which the company in South America would not tell me if it has a percent of poison in it- many of their products do, + they only give the number of poison control, + insist that the formula is 'proprietary information'. But after trying 3 brands, will stick w/Terro even though it does not sell a large container of liquid (I do not need more plastic tomatoe holders plus glass baby food jars worked just as well) Have put the Terro liquid bait-filled plastic tomatoes in clear plastic cups (clear so insects could see the red fruit shape), as the tomatoes have many preferations, which is good, but they are light-weight, tip + spill easily. However, the flat rectangular shape of the bottles of the Super Ninja Fruit fly Traps, though the liquid they came with is useless, the bottles w/their flat walls can be attached to any flat surface or wall w/a sticky strip; That had been my intent when I ordered them so I did not have to worry about containers spilling or space to put them down in or my cat getting to one... As the Ninja contents have proved useless, I will empty + rinse them out so I can fill them w/Terro attractant. will report if the insects will use these glass containers. While I had planned to take advantage of the flat walls of the Ninja glass containers + a photo in the Ad may have suggested they could be stuck to a wall, I was surprised that they came w/a pre-attached silicone sticky strip pre-attached for that purpose (one should use a spatula to remove the sticky strip and bottle intact from the wall (they are silicone w/adhesive + residue can be easily removed). There was one other brand of 25 vials which also did not catch a single fruit fly- even when used in Terro's tomatoe shape, which I also do not recommend, 'Qualirey 20 Pack Fruit Fly Trap Refill Liquid'... Do not recommend the Super Ninja Fly Traps because the bait does not work, at least for my fruit flies in Connecticut; but I still need to substitute Terro liquid bait in their their rectangular glass containers a+ see if the insects will then use them before I formally recommend the containers themselves- they have a yellow funnel on top. However, $39.99 plus tax is a high price to pay for the 12 glass containers which I will need to empty out to use with Terro brand liquid- if the bugs will use that container w/Terro bait.

These traps helped a lot when fruit flies popped up in my kitchen. Setup is simple—open and place near the problem area—and they start catching quickly. I like that each bottle lasts a while and doesn’t require any maintenance besides replacing when full. Good, low-effort option for keeping bugs under control.

I have to be honest. When I saw that my wife ordered these with a rating of 3.7 stars I made fun of her. Well, I had to eat my words because they worked immediately. The smell is very strong initially but dissipated in about 20 minutes. I feel like the trap in the kitchen caught maybe 50 fruit flies. We have only used it for 2 days and I feel like I don't really see them anymore. Good product

I was hoping that these would be my last ditch answer to a terrible fruit fly infestation that we cannot get a handle on. They have been effective, but no more effective than other solutions I’ve tried. For just a few fruit flies, I’m sure these would be ideal, but still having to combine with other methods to get rid of so many.

The Super Ninja Fruit Fly Traps are just okay. They do catch some fruit flies, so they aren’t completely ineffective, but they don’t attract nearly as many as I expected. Even when I placed them right next to the problem areas, I still saw flies buzzing around that never went near the traps. They’re easy to set up and they do work to a degree, just not as strongly as the product description or other reviews made it seem. Overall, they’re fine in a pinch, but I wouldn’t call them highly effective

I had an absolutely HORRIBLE infestation of fruit flies... and ordered two different (but similar in the concept of the bottle trap) brands. This one, SUPER NINJA, worked the best. The design of it's inverted yellow cone is superior to the other brand. I can NOT understand other reviewers saying this does not work... because it DOES !! It took a day or two... I think the odor intensified... but then it started to litererally fill up with the fruit flies. It does NOT work for gnats... but they make that clear.

Works very well. Unfortunately it's designed to never be knocked over. My cat loved to knock it over whenever he could. I have just that one issue. Otherwise it's easy to use. Just have to place out of the reach of pets and children

Obwohl kein Obst offen herumstand, waren auf einmal überall diese kleinen Biester. Hausmittel wie Essig mit Spülmittel haben nur bedingt geholfen und waren eher eine klebrige Notlösung. Dann habe ich die Ninja Fruchtfliegen Falle ausprobiert – und ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht! Die Anwendung ist super einfach: hinstellen und wirken lassen. Kein unangenehmer Geruch, kein Herumprobieren. Schon nach kurzer Zeit konnte man sehen, dass die Falle effektiv arbeitet. Innerhalb von ein bis zwei Tagen war die Situation deutlich besser, und nach wenigen Tagen war das Problem praktisch erledigt. Besonders überzeugt haben mich: ✔ Schnelle und sichtbare Wirkung ✔ Einfache, saubere Anwendung ✔ Kein störender Geruch ✔ Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass es so schnell funktioniert. Für alle, die plötzlich mit einer Fruchtfliegen-Plage zu kämpfen haben, ist das wirklich eine klare Empfehlung!

Super Nija Fruit Fly Trap, pack of four bottles. These were ordered on Mon 09.02.2026 and were delivered on Tues 10.02.2026. On Tues 10.02.2026 early evening, I opened one bottle and placed the opened bottle on the kitchen worktop. Within 48 hours all of the fruit flies in the kitchen were trapped inside the Super Nija Fruit Fly Trap bottle. A few of the fruit flies were trapped inside the Super Nija Fruit Fly Trap bottle during daylight hours. The vast majority of the fruit flies were trapped inside the Super Nija Fruit Fly Trap bottle overnight when the kitchen was dark. This excellent product is 100% effective. Would I order this product again if needed? Yes, definitely.
