Astro A50 Gen 5. Not A50 X
My husband has been using these and absolutely loves them. The sound quality is really good, and they’re an upgrade from his old Astro A50. They’re comfortable enough to wear for hours without bothering his head. The wireless connection is solid overall, though he did mention his old headset had a better range — he could walk to the fridge without disconnecting. The mic quality is clear and his friends can hear him well. Setup was easy, and switching between his Xbox and PC is convenient. He has the PLAYSYNC Audio version (not the PLAYSYNC Video & Audio), and it still works great for his setup. Overall, they’re a great headset and definitely worth it if you game a lot and use two or more systems.

Top-Tier Wireless Gaming Headset – Amazing Sound & Comfort 🎮🔥
The Logitech G Astro A50 is an amazing headset. The sound quality is super clear with strong bass and great surround sound, perfect for gaming. The wireless connection is smooth with no lag, and the base station makes charging and switching between devices really easy. Battery life lasts long enough for long gaming sessions, and the headset is very comfortable even after hours of use. Mic quality is clear for party chat and calls. Overall, premium quality and 100% worth it if you want a top-tier gaming headset.

Did Not Expect to Enjoy it This Much
I was really hesitant about the dock and having to connect to the dock. I also heard the sidetone wasn’t great and I really need sidetone, I cannot use an over ear headphone without it. Turns out this has great sidetone, probably the best I ever had, and I actually love the dock as well. Looks awesome on my desk, I can see the connection status and battery level, and honestly I only had an issue getting it to charge maybe once in my couple weeks with it. I think people haven’t really figured out the trick to docking the headphones and that really helps. Basically let the magnet just grab the headphones then push the ear cups down to confirm the connection. What’s also awesome is you never have to turn the headphones off. Just flip the mic up and put it down on the dock. This automatically turns the headset off, charges it, and keeps it ready for when you want it again. It won’t keep your PC/XBOX/PS and phone connected until you pick the headset up again. And no it will not over charge it switches to the docks power when plugged in so the battery doesn’t just drop to 99% and 100% over and over. Overall mic quality is top tier, the dock is much more convenient than I thought with a much larger connection range than you think, comfort is not terrible (I have a big head and it can start to get uncomfortable towards the end of a long gaming session), sound quality is still being experimented with in the eq settings but being able to download other people’s eq settings is awesome (input and output), and this is my first simultaneous connection and headset and let me tell you…it is awesome!

Best headphones on the market
I've used quite a few headphones in the past years. This is quite literally the best I've used, and its not close. Sounds quality is top tier and crisp. Hearing every footstep or sound is a huge advantage on PvP games and shooters, but also the prevision of sounds for story games is amazing. Comfortability is next level, hardly feels like there is any weight to it on your head, which is impressive as it seems so durable. Switching from my PC to my PS5 to my XBOX with a single click of a button is actually the most useful feature I've ever seen. The charging base charges these headphones quite quickly to be honest! I've thought about negatives this headphone would need to be addressed and there's hardly anything. The ONLY thing worth mentioning is that there is rare times where the headphones need to be adjusted slightly and maneuvered to sit correctly on the charging station. Oh, and of course the price is pretty steep.. but I guess you get what you pay for? Its definitely worth the price I think

Great headset, charging is a bit tricky
New work/gaming headphones. Absolutely love the sounds and having the docking station. Very comfortable, Connects quickly and functions well. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is that when putting it on a docking station it has to be just perfect or it won't charge and will be dead when you need it most. Just think for the price it should charge a bit easier to just drop them on and go.

New standard set, goodbye Turtle Beach
These headphones have been absolutely outstanding and have exceeded my expectations in every way. I was a long-time, loyal Turtle Beach customer, but after experiencing several issues with the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro, I decided to explore other options. I ultimately gave those to a friend and purchased the Logitech Astro A50 X gaming headset—and I could not be happier with my decision. The sound quality is exceptional and far beyond what I anticipated, delivering a truly immersive gaming experience. I have had zero issues with the microphone, and my friends immediately noticed a significant improvement, consistently commenting that my voice is dramatically clearer compared to when I was using the Stealth Pro. Based on my experience, I have no intention of returning to Turtle Beach. The Logitech Astro A50 X has set a new standard for me in both audio quality and overall performance, and I would highly recommend this headset to anyone looking for a premium gaming audio solution.

High quality, but expensive and some limited functionality
Very high quality, but is it worth $400? I'm keeping mine, but I'd say probably not. it can switch between two video channels and 3 audio channels, but the quality has to be reduced for high resolution outputs like my pc and ps5 or the image quality comes out grainy and with flashes of static. Had to turn my ps5 down to 1080i or 720p. It still looks fine since my tv is pretty old anyway, but it seems like a pretty ridiculous caveat for such an expensive product. It was also a nightmare to set up. For some reason it just straight up stopped working when I updated the firmware and I had to restart my computer to get it to work again. That said, the sound quality is amazing, the mic seems good, though I haven't played games with my friends yet to hear what they have to say and the media switching is very convenient
