Rather large. Not easy to fit in restrictive areas

This review is for the 6x9 box. The overall size of the box is about 11 and a half inches long 7 and 1/2 in tall, and about 5 and 1/8 in thick. It is made of 5/8 in MDF, comes with a terminal cup and a vent port on the back. The terminal cup and the vent port are not glued in, so you might have to put a little bit of glue on them so they don't pop out on you. And it doesn't look like the box was put together with glue, so you might have to go around the inside and seal it. It does come with some resident pads with sticky tape on the back, helps cut down in those unwanted sounds from inside the box. This is only one box which was kind of disappointing, it would have been better to have two in my opinion. The build quality is all right, you can see the seams in the carpet in some spots, but it's not like this is the centerpiece to a Hi-Fi audio system. It does happen to fit both pair of six by nines that I have, one pairs of pioneer, the other is an audiotek. So overall it's not bad, you just might have to do a little bit of extra work if you're going to push some power to a 6x9.

Very disappointed to find this only includes one speaker enclosure, since it was not clear from the description as it says “enclosures” and several photos picture two. Perhaps the price should tip me off there’s only one although these 6x9 boxes are normally sold in pairs, unlike a subwoofer box which is just single. Judging the one single box it is a dense MDF with a nice gray carpet. Front baffle is approximately ⅝” thick with rear box approximately ⅜”. The sides are unknown, perhaps the same ⅜” material as the rear, so it’s not a very thick box but should work given the small size. The thinner material does make this a light, easily moved box, which can be good in some installs. The speaker wire clips are the standard basic spring clips. The port is just over 2” long with diameter from approximately ⅝” to ⅜” taper. The nice quality fill with adhesive backing is uninstalled, so you can add as you like.
