Solid, high quality display with good connectivity
Seems a very well made, solid monitor. Good colours, and as bright as anyone could wish - I've actually turned the brightness down a bit. Excellent connectivity. It's an IPS-type monitor, which means the viewing angles are very wide and the colours are rich and accurate. I've got it side by side with another HP monitor which is of the much cheaper TN type - it cost half as much as the Z27n. The Z27n looks better in comparison, but the difference isn't huge. Is it really worth double? I think it is if you divide the extra cost over the lifetime of the monitor, which might be ten years. Having said that, it does seems a little on the pricey side for what it is, hence four rather than five stars.

HP Z27n G2 IPS Monitor
A very nice monitor. It’s QHD 2560x1440, and not 4K resolution but otherwise has all the features I was hoping for in a model this year. Acts as a USB3 hub, including upstream and downstream usb-c ports, also supporting display input over usb-c. Also has DisplayPort daisy-changing for supporting multiple monitors, and HDMI and DVI inputs. A nice looking, robust and highly adjustable stand, up-down, tilt and rotate, or the monitor can be VESA mounted. I’m surprised there don’t seem to be very many reviews for this monitor available online.

Unit not working
Tried hard to get this to work with a new macbook pro, couldn't pick up the signal, tried all sorts then gave up - read about issues with the cables supplied, this is not the monitor for me.

Fits the bill for a decent 27inch screen
Nice display on par with the new Dell Ultrasharp I sent back due to issues... although mine came with horrific backlight bleed in the top left corner... I can’t keep returning monitors

Amazing monitor for the price
Really good monitor with surprisingly high picture quality. I feel like 1440p is the sweet spot for this size monitor as with 1080p pixels begin to become visible and the 4k version of this costs an extra £200... It's got a great selection of ports including USB-C dual stream, DisplayPort and HDMI (I think it could do with another HDMI imo) as well as supporting audio pass-through for external speakers. Picture quality is great and build and the panel gets surprisingly bright. Build quality exceeded my expectations for a monitor and the hight adjustment is perfectly weighted making it easy. I'd definitely recommend this product; especially if you can get it on sale.
