Perhaps not what a Brit would call "value for money", but peanut butter of an excellence that's hard to find. No nonsense: no sugar, no palm oil, not emulsified chemically or otherwise into a runny caricature of peanut butter. Ingredients are peanuts and a bit of salt. The result is tasty, with just enough texture to be substantial. -- (For those new to natural peanut butter: it contains only peanuts and sometimes salt, with no added emulsifiers or sugars. The natural oils from the peanuts separate from the solids, forming a layer on top that requires stirring before each use, a quick easy task.)

I'm in love with the variety of Peanut Butter & Co nut butters, and this one is hands-down my absolute favorite. The nutty crunch and texture are wonderful—perfectly satisfying in every bite. The oil content is minimal and easy to mix right in the jar, so there's no mess or hassle. What really sets this apart is the excellent carb-to-protein ratio—it doesn't contain excessive added sugar, yet the taste is unbeatable. If you're looking for a healthier peanut butter that doesn't sacrifice flavor, this is it. This brand is tops in my book!

Pros: Tastes great. Less sugar per serving than most peanut butter brands. Cons: The oil separates from the pulp and constantly needs stirring to homogenize the product. Updated review: I’m really disappointed in this Old Fashioned Crunchy peanut butter. I purchased the 6-pack (expiration date 8/2017) to take along with me on a trip overseas. I just finished the first bottle before leaving home and it was fine, except for the constant oil separation issue. The second bottle that I just finished, of which I had to pour of nearly ½ cup of oil floating on the surface before I could even get to the crunchy peanut butter, was more of a struggle. I tried my best to stir it in, but only managed to slosh the stuff all over myself. By the time I got to the bottom of the bottle, it was super-hard. Forget spreading it on a sandwich or a stick of celery! Nevertheless, since there is no peanut butter in this country, I chose to cut it with a knife and eat the cubes. That was not very appetizing, and as a result, it’s taken me all this time to get through the second bottle. Since I had had the floating oil problem with the first jar, I flipped the others in my stash upside down in hopes the oil would float to the bottom of the jar that was now on top. No such luck. The third jar I just opened, with its ½ cup of oil still on the impenetrable surface, despite my efforts, smells completely rancid. We’re still 4 months from expiration date. Totally stale. I tried the remaining 3 bottles. Same story. This Old Fashioned Crunchy peanut butter was a waste of money, and it sure was a waste of valuable suitcase space.

I eat a big spoonful about 3 times a day. Pretty plain peanut taste. But it is natural and we are all used to tasting the unnecessary additives in other brands. It separates and needs stirring initially. I keep it in the frig and its perfect consistency. Tastes better cold too. I squirt a little honey on top of the PB before my morning workout. Tastes great then!

I really like this product and I’ve been buying it for a long time, but it seem like it lasts me longer than I need. I could probably get by with one or two at a time, but I can always give some to the food bank, which is good. I know people have a problem stirring it. I put it in the fridge and I stir it with a steak knife, and that helps a lot Other than that I love it.

I purchased the smooth 2-ingredient version. This peanut butter is thin and soupy. I’ve often bought straight ground peanut butter but this is just not how I usually encounter it. It was dense on the bottom and required excessive mixing. The result was a consistency which drips off the knife and slides off crackers. The consumer this consistency appeals to is baffling.

Good flavor. Non GMO. Does however contain palm oil.

At least as good as other similar products. You do have to stir it. Not for weak or lazy people. Good amount of peanuts.
