My rearview mirror broke off the windshield taking a small piece of glass with it. It was a $250 fix if I took it in. It was tricky to just get the smaller mounting piece that goes on the windshield off. THIS IS IMPORTANT: By removing the smaller windshield mounting piece, it allowed me to glue that mounting piece to the windshield without mounting the mirror and adding weight to the gluing/curing process. It says a 5 min curing I believe. Maybe 20 mins? I forget now. But I left that little mounting piece glued for several hours ensuring the glue had cured. Remounted my mirror, plugged in the cord, boom…. Done! Note: While I initially held the mounting piece with pressure for 2 mins or so, I then taped it holding the mounting piece onto the windshield to ensure proper holding in place. Easy repair. Like most things, it’s all in the prep. Clean surface with rubbing alcohol, let dry, practice lining up the mounting piece a few times so you know where you want it. Apply minimal glue but ensuring all portions are covered. Glue and press in mounting piece/bracket. Hold for 2 mins, then tape in place with painters tape or the like. Let cure an extended amount of time. Reinstall. Easy. If this method fails, I will update. 6/2025

I got this because I was looking for something that would help with the stickers that weren’t staying stuck to my water bottle. The fact that they weren’t sticking was entirely my fault, I placed them too low on the bottle and they just kept curling up. I had just bought these stickers that were not cheap and very much something I don’t ever want to take off my water bottle, so I did some research and this was the answer. I didn’t need much which means I have a ton left over, but that’s great because I have a feeling I’ll need it eventually.

The instructions aren’t easy to follow which is probably because the product has to be mixed in order to use.

We were trying to put a mirror back on our truck. This stuff did the job. Regular kind didn’t hold it

I mixed the product well and applied it to earing backing and to wampum shell and after about a week later , it came apart. I tried several more times and the same result happened. This epoxy did not work for me.

Gorilla Glue Epoxy is a very strong & fast drying, water-proof glue that is easily applied and fast-setting. I used it to fix a stainless steel female threaded sleeve into a wooden coat-hanger hall stand, I allowed 48 hours for setting, instead of the 24 hours on the package directions, and it worked out very strong on assembly using the M12 bolt & sleeve. I can recommend Gorilla epoxy glue.

I normally use JB Weld, but recently tried Gorilla Glue just for one reason: JB is grey, and GG is clear. Pros: 1) the things fixed with GG can be more aesthetic; 2) Convenient application; 3) Quick drying; 4) No strong smell; 5) Suitable for Kintsugi, can be mixed with mica powder. Con: GG strength is nowhere near JB. I really can't recommend it for jobs where the strong bond is more important than aesthetic.

Standard 2 part epoxy, holds well, doesn't set too fast allowing a couple minutes to apply, yet after about 10-15 minutes it already holds well enough to remove the clamps from a project. Having a tube on hand is always a good idea, and typically a better option than superglue.
