The Kew Book of Sugar Flowers: How to make beautiful floral cake decorations

Lovely book, very pleased with the photos showing how to make each flower. It includes a wide variety of flowers, different orchid types, tulips, calla lily and anthurium, roses, dahlia, carnation, cosmos, freesia, sweet pea are just some of them plus it shows how to make various leaves near the back of the book. Highly recommended book.

I bought this for my friend who loves to bake and wanted to learn how to make flower decorations. She really enjoyed this book and has been able to make very beautiful designs

A beautiful book with lovely pictures of the sugar flowers which are very realistic. I have deducted one star because there are several glaring botanical inaccuracies- not good in ‘The Kew Book of Sugar Flowers’. Eg sea holly is not a Thistle and the yellow centre of a Daisy is not stamens. Surely these should have been picked up by a botanist before publication.

I hadn't bother to check the author of this book as from the cover I knew it would be good. To my delight and pleasure it's by the multi-talented Cassie Brown and as with everything associated with her ... tools, equipment, airbrush etc., it did not fail to please. An absolutely excellent book, so well illustrated and explained ... if only I could give 10 stars!!!

Great book, shows you step by step. Well worth it

This book is incredible. I have many other books by Jacqueline butler, Naomi, Alan Dunn, Lisa proctor, and this book by far is the most detailed and illustrative. The pictures are not blown out bright white so as to be impossible to see. I recommend this book to everyone.

Congrats to Cassie Brown for this wonderful book. I'm so happy glad that I purchased this book, it has great illustrations and very detailed, Step by step instructions are so easy to follow. If you're into making sugar flowers and are looking for a great book, this is the book for you. Very happy with this purchase, Love this book.

Even though I make faux flowers out of thermoplastic not gumpaste , this proved to be a valuable reference book for me. The visuals were wonderful--sometimes I didn't even have to bother reading the captions because the vital information was already there in the photos. I highly recommend getting this particular title over others that cover this kind of subject.
