My okonomiyaki fav. Sauce
Authentic Japanese flavour, rich and delicious! This Otafuku Okonomi Sauce is fantastic if you enjoy Japanese food, especially okonomiyaki. The sauce has a lovely sweet, savoury and slightly tangy flavour, with a rich umami taste that instantly gives food that authentic Japanese-style finish. The consistency is thick enough to spread or drizzle easily, and a little goes a long way. Although it’s made for okonomiyaki, I’ve also found it works really well with vegetable pancakes, noodles, fried rice, fries and grilled vegetables. The bottle is convenient to use and the flavour is much better than trying to recreate okonomiyaki sauce by mixing several condiments at home. Great taste, versatile, and definitely something I’d buy again. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Japanese cooking ❤️ Cons: little pricey

The first time I tried this sauce it was in a Okonomiyaki restaurant in Hiroshima and I loved it so much that I bought it at a grocery store in Tokyo, before the end of my holiday in Japan. So glad I can buy it again on amazon and get it at home in 1 day! It's such a tasty and delicious sauce and a fundamental ingredient for your home-made Okonomiyaki!

Great on Japanese pancakes
Love this sauce on a Okinomiyaki pancake - lots of recipes online. It's definitely worth getting this rather than using HP which is thicker and a slightly more intense flavour.

Possibly an aquired taste
An impossible to describe taste, definitely spicey, but not tomatoey or like BBQ sauce. My wife says she loves it, I cant decide if I like it or hate - its THAT sort of taste. Mind you, I used to think that about Olives and love them now. So 4 stars from the missus, 3 from me. Where is you half star rating Amazon? So rounded down to 3 stars.
