I think this chemical peel is one of the best on the market. It works exactly as promised. Because it’s a concentrated 25% AHA formula with a very low pH (around 2), you will feel some tingling and mild irritation during application—but that’s completely expected with such a strong acid. After about five minutes, once you wash it off, you can clearly see a noticeable improvement in your complexion. I’ve been using it once a week for a few months now, and it has made a significant difference in my pigmentation. Of course, you need to follow a proper skincare routine to maintain results—especially using two fingers’ length of a good sunscreen daily to prevent further tanning. Overall, I’d say this peel offers almost medical-grade exfoliation at home at a super affordable price. Highly recommended if you’re comfortable using potent exfoliants safely.

I didn’t use it on face as it may be drying and too potent but I recommend using it for hands and legs, it helps exfoliate and even peel away the skin but not much visible improvement in strawberry skin, with continued usage it should help.

It does gives you a clear skin. One doesn't need a facial after the application. I use it only once a week. It does irritate on broken skin or skin breakouts. But it's so awesome that it's very mild irritation. The results are mind blowing. I didn't need a facial after this product. Only complain:- I HAD to open the bottle and use it. Pump not working.

I was excited to try this peel with its impressive combination of 25% AHA, 2% BHA, and 5% PHA. The product clearly advises not to exceed 10 minutes of use, and my experience confirms that this warning is crucial. Unlike other popular, high-strength peels (like The Ordinary, which I can comfortably leave on for 10 minutes with great results), the Conscious Chemist product simply does not deliver the same "glow". Instead of a radiant finish, I’m left with skin that feels uncomfortably warm and sensitized after rinsing, often leading to noticeable dryness and flakiness the next day. That indicated that my skin barrier is demaged. If I use the original red AHA/BHA mask, my skin loves a sheet mask and all Indients I apply afterwards. This mask here just makes it cry for more and more skin care. The sensation during application is surprisingly mild—less intense than my usual peel—but the post-treatment irritation suggests something is going wrong beneath the surface. For me, this product causes inflammation rather than true radiance. A Formulation Problem? ----------------------------- My theory, confirmed by looking into the formulation science, is that this peel is highly irritating but poorly controlled. - Lack of Soothing Agents: The most crucial difference compared to peels that deliver a clean glow (like TO) is the absence of a dedicated, powerful anti-irritant (a "buffer," like Tasmanian Pepperberry Derivative). The other peel actively manages the acids' aggressive activity; the CC peel does not. - Uncontrolled Penetration: This formula contains ingredients like Propylene Glycol, which acts as an effective penetration enhancer. In a highly acidic formula, the acids are driven deeply and quickly into the skin. - Inflammation, Not Exfoliation: The result is a product that bypasses the true, superficial exfoliating "tingle" and instead seems to trigger an uncontrolled inflammatory response (the heat and redness). My skin is preoccupied with repairing this damage, which prevents the immediate, healthy "glow" I look for in a peel. The Conscious Chemist Peeling Solution is technically potent, but its formula lacks the finesse and balancing agents necessary for a positive experience. The 10-minute warning is non-negotiable, and for those accustomed to a strong, yet controlled glow from other brands, this peel may only deliver irritation and a compromised skin barrier, not the promised radiance. Would I repurchase? No. I will stick to formulas that deliver high-power exfoliation with effective counter-irritant systems.
