As usual, can’t fault Katie Sue for quality. Have quite a few of their moulds and they brilliant ! Would definitely recommend.

Katy Sue Moulds are more expensive but you get what you pay for. Excellent quality, durable and the detail is fantastic and gives good results every time bought to embellish Christmas cakes it looked great *make sure to dust your mould well and ensure its clean of sugar paste before repeating.

Having decided that I didn't want to use bubble wrap to achieve a honeycomb effect for my bee keepers 60th birthday cake I ordered the honeycomb mould to use with sugar paste. I managed to achieve the overall effect that I was looking for but it took a lot of time and patience. It is not easy to join the pieces together and it was impossible to achieve a seamless finish, luckily I was able to disguise the joins by adding colouring and a honey drip effect and also breaking it up with random bits of honeycomb stuck to the outside of the cake. It was relatively easy to release the sugar paste from the mould and I didn't even have to dust it with icing sugar or corn flour as suggested. Found it easier to let the released pieces dry slightly before applying them with some edible glue, this avoided them stretching when matching them up to the pieces already applied to the cake. My customer was delighted with his cake.

Mould arrived just in time but I had trouble with my credit card, not the companies fault. Fabulous mould you do need to press on hard to get detail as my first attempt not so clear.. Once it hardened I dusted it with glitter as I had used white paste and it looked brilliant on the cake. Very pleased with the result and so was my granddaughter. The mould is easy to used and easy to clean.

Excellent product when used with tylo powder (prevents sticking) for fondant items. Beautiful when used for textured backgrounds and knitted jumper themed items. Easy cleaning and removing. Would recommend using a rolling pin when using fondant to get the desired texture.

This is a little difficult to use. Excellent quality material. Very pretty but getting the gum paste into the mould was a bit tedious. It comes out a bit thick for my liking.

This product arrived really quickly. I have used it and very pleased with the end result. The small indentations round the edge of the heart are really good and I inserted silver balls into them. This really made the finished result ‘pop’. I am using it for a wedding cake that I am helping a friend with - I already had the MR mould - so it completed the finished look.

Gostei muito das árvores que fiz em pasta de açúcar com este molde. Fácil e rápido!
