## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hey guys, can you verify that the back wall is removable once the paper is clamped?**
A: Hi Linton, The Back is removable so that you can apply the compound. We actually demonstrate the use of this press in our video titles "How To Use Padding Compound" Check it out to see it in action. Best Regards, Michael W @ CFS Products Inc.

**Q: What is the minimum height of the stack of paper you can use? Like 1/4" or 1/8" or?**
A: It makes more sense if you have the paper to do the classic stacked option. That's why they call it padding press. If you want or need 1/8" or less even then most people put in paper cardstock or better still light to medium weight chipboard stock. Using a Padding knife you can slit the stacks much smaller and though you can cut a pad off the chipboard or card stock insert it is much less stable in the long run. However many of us make a batch of paper notes and then after the glue has set and cured properly you can split the depth of the stack into smaller sheets. And don't forget people make specialized carbon and carbonless stacks and forms by doing this technique approach. So see the photo where you see levels of colored paper will no reason why you must cut it right on the change of color if all white is used then just cut every few sheets you desire. I make approximately 4x6 and even smaller note pads and we prefer having smaller pads in height too. Often no more than 20 sheets at a time. That way you can always grab a fresh pad and have nice clean pad to go keeping the rest clean in the drawer or cabinet. So not saying to invest in an expensive so called padding knife by the way. Almost any thin but solid spatula from kitchen ware or house hold will do a lovely job. Most table knives might be too thick to do a good job of cutting apart the stacks of pads however. TRY things out yourself and think outside the box not just ask others to do that for you...lock into your own creative juices. WHO knows you might find a whole new wonderful world of FUN and just Amaze not only friends but yourself too. Stay safe everyone.

**Q: What is the largest size paper that this machine will accept--that is, will it pad 8.5x11"?**
A: As you can see from the pic, it easily holds two stacks of 8.5x11, side by side, which is how I typically pad. So you can easily pad 11x17, long ways, if you want.

**Q: Does it allow you to glue two parts.? I clamp currently but they end up not tearing off right. Like 10 or 15 at a time instead of one two part a time.**
A: Not sure I understand your question but, you can glue up multiple pads at the same time. You actually need to cut them apart.
