Still have a few older DeWalt tools that haven't croaked yet and these batteries seem to do a pretty good job. They hold the charge pretty well and for the amount of life that I figure I have in these old DeWalt lxt tools? I'm sure they'll suffice fine for the monetary value spent

These are as good as the name brand for way less. It is compatible to the name brand tools. It holds a charge for 6 months and I know this because we are snowbirds that found on return to our home ( after 6 months) that it was still charged and worked well

As others have said, it does not fit the charger well. But it works, holds a charge, and the capacity seems quite good. It is quite a bit lighter than the original, so that is a plus too. Bottom line- it allowed me to start using my old Dewalt cordless drill again, and that drill is just an absolute BEAST, with a half-inch chuck and tons of torque. Overall, recommended. And, the price was right!

My drill takes the DC9098 battery. These batteries were said to be compatible, so I ordered them because the price is good. First thing I noticed was they fit in my charger very tight and were hard to remove. They were also tighter in the drill, but after putting them in and out a few times, this wasn't an issue in the drill and with something handy to lightly pry they come out of the charger ok. I was puzzled what made them fit tighter and worried this might cause a problem, but upon inspection realized there is a metal clip/tab on the center post that my original batteries did not have. This clip makes that center tab thicker; therefore, fitting tighter. Not sure what this is for and couldn't find anything on-line other than something that said it was there to balance charging. Other than the tight fit, the batteries were compatible, charged up and worked as good as the originals when they were new. The tight fit is the only negative I have found with these batteries, but for the price and to have a powerful drill again, I think is only a slight inconvenience.

Shipment was a few days late. Ordered this product a few years ago and it worked fine. Ordered the same item number this time but the batteries do not fit into the charge ????

Works great! Fits well on the charger and drill. Batteries seem to have more power then the original. Which is pretty cool! Thank you!
