I was so glad to get this doll. She is very pretty and has a beautiful face. She is on a model muse body and the details on the skirt are embroidered.

I've never been much for doll collecting but when I first noticed this Día De Muertos line for Barbie a few years ago I jumped on as many of them as I could find at a reasonable price. This year's addition is another wonderful representation of the Mexican cultural celebration. As always, this year's doll is brilliantly painted in authentic designs and dressed in amazingly detailed traditional clothing. Her black satin dress is rich in details to enjoy with the colors, embroidery, calaveras, flowers, etc., even down to the finely detailed calaveras, earrings. This signature collection entry is a great way to enjoy not just the beauty of the doll but also to teach young ones about the Día De Los Muertos traditions. I discovered this line in 2021 and wish that I had known about it earlier so that I could have purchased the first few years before their resale prices went through the roof! This year's edition is currently priced very affordably and I would suggest any fan of Barbie or of the Día De Los Muertos traditions to grab yours now at Amazon's current price.

We ended up getting this for part of my daughter’s Easter basket. We weren’t looking but it popped up on sale at the time and seemed like a sign to get it. We absolutely are one awe of it. It’s beautiful and well put together. The size is perfect! And the details on this Barbie is out of this world. Such a great piece for her first collection item to have for as long as she likes.
