I’m honestly obsessed with BlackVoyage products, especially their travel backpacks, and the Vortex Vacuum Seal Travel Backpack did not disappoint. On a recent trip to Mexico City, I used this backpack as my main carry and was able to pack everything I needed for an entire week — including clothes, toiletries, and multiple electronics. The air compression system is the standout feature. It makes packing incredibly efficient and allows you to fit far more clothing than a traditional backpack. The design is extremely well thought out. All compartments are easy to access, which makes organizing gear and electronics simple while traveling. The materials feel thick, durable, and premium, and the backpack maintains its structure even when fully packed. Comfort is another highlight. The straps are very comfortable for extended wear, which matters when moving through airports or walking around a city. The exterior material is also very easy to clean, which is great for travel. The Black Voyage Aero backpack is absolutely amazing for travel. It is truly a game changer for a carry-on bag for flights. I was able to pack so much using the vacuum sealed compartment, and was very happy with the extra storage compartments as well. The backpack fits like a normal-everyday backpack and allows extra space without the look of an oversized bag. Would recommend to anyone! I am definitely purchasing another.

I was honestly skeptical about this backpack because of the price, but after actually receiving it and using it for a few trips, I get why people like it so much. The first thing I noticed was the material on the front of the bag. It has this really smooth, almost leather-like feel to it that’s kind of addictive to touch. The whole bag looks really sleek and well put together. The vacuum compression feature is what really sold me though. It actually works and lets you pack way more than a normal backpack without it feeling bulky. I was able to fit way more clothes than I expected and it still stayed organized. It also feels really dependable. The zippers are solid, the structure holds its shape well, and it just feels like something that will hold up for a long time. The ability to plug in a charging block and not have to carry it is so nice and handy too! Also I love the TSA lock! Overall I’m really glad I bought it. If you’re on the fence like I was, it turned out to be a really solid travel backpack.

This is a great way to travel. I had plenty of room for 3-days worth of clothes, and my bathroom supply, electronics. The quality of the backpack is impressive and well made. The zippers are not cheap and will stand the test of time, I'm sure. It's worth a few extra bucks compared to cheaper versions. You get what you pay for. I recommend!

This was my first premium backpack, and so far it's worth every penny! I bought it to use for airline travel but since I haven't taken a trip with it yet, I did a "practice run" by using it as a commuter bag for a few days and packing it similarly to how I would for a plane trip. PROS: feels well-made and high quality; looks sleek and professional. - Waterproof, not just water resistant. It kept everything dry despite being snowed on at the bus stop. - The tech pocket liner being orange makes my cables and adapters easier to find. - Plenty of pockets; I haven't even used them all yet! - The vacuum seal held up well - I only used it for about 24 hours, but it didn't leak. - The shoe compartment extends up to the top of the bag (underneath the waterproof toiletries pocket), so with some wrangling even larger sized shoes might fit. - The padding on the straps and hip belt distributed the weight so well the bag never felt too heavy to me, even on the long walk to/from the bus stop. - The back felt more breathable than the other two backpacks I've tried, thanks to the honeycomb webbing under the back padding and the airflow column down the middle. - The 3 sections (Front Top fleece-lined pocket, main clamshell section with vacuum-compression, shoe, and toiletry compartments, and Tech Pocket) made it easy for me to organize my gear. CONS: - Pack the tech pocket BEFORE using the vacuum compression section or the space is too tight to slide things into easily. - It is easy to overpack, and the weight distribution system allows you to get away with it so if you're trying to bring LESS, this bag may not help! I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Great Bag, well-made very solid feel. Bag comes in a very nice premium Ziploc and then cloth exterior bag. Bag had Lots of pockets very well thought out, has a very large tech pocket for PC or MacBook and a special charger pass through, which would make phones easy to charge on the go in an airport. My main interest in this bag was the vacuum seal compartment, while it took a while to figure out how to use the pump I was able to do it. The compartment fits a lot of stuff. I was able to fit about five pairs of underwear, six or seven T-shirts and two oversize hoodies. I was able to fit another two hoodies once the air was vacuumed out in the exterior of the vacuum seal compartment, so overall very impressed. If you look at the advertisements, it seems like you could fit a lot more stuff than I did, but that is advertising and maybe I have to learn how to maneuver the clothing inside the vacuum seal compartment to fit more stuff. I kind of saw a better way to do it better Other than that really great bag worth the money and I will help you save on luggage fees at the airport.

Fantastic backpack! As advertised and is great for travel and everyday use. High quality material and each compartment is well thought out. Vortex compression also very easy to use and you really can store quite a lot. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.
