Only downside (for some) is they’re pretty big, so make sure you have the space. Overall, great quality and worth it for pantry organization.

Perfect for 10 lbs!

Easily held a 10-pound bag of sugar. The plastic is polypropylene - I'd hoped for polycarbonate. The lid secured easily and the gasket sealed on the entire surface.

These containers are just the size that I was looking for. They hold my bread flour and sugar with a nice tight fitting lid and fit in my lower cabinet perfectly....so glad I decided to b my them.

I searched for an answer to what size containers I needed to contain 25 lbs of bulk flour. Couldn’t find it and took a leap of faith on these. This is the size (8.5 liters) set you want to hold your bulk flour. I used two cups of my 25 lb bag to make pumpkin bread before these arrived. When I was filling, a wee bit fell to floor, and I did press down on the flour when it neared the top of each container to get it all in. The two measuring cups won’t fit in right away, but that doesn’t matter to me. Correction: just went to pantry to take pictures of the containers 25 minutes after filling and the flour is self settling. Maybe later today the measuring cups will fit if the flour settles more over time. Otherwise, easy to clean, solid airtight closure, strong enough to stack, appreciate being able to scoop right from the wide open top. Included the can in pictures for scale. I will be shifting items on my shelving unit to place these on top so I am able to scoop from them in place. I ordered a 4 container set (6.5 liters each) to store bulk sugar (10 lbs), brown sugar (7 lbs), powdered sugar (7 lbs) and coffee beans. I’m sure I’ll have room to spare in each after filling. My baking ingredient stock will be lined up, safely contained and easy to access.

I got several sets of these, hoping that they would work in a variety of situations and they've not let me down. So far I've used these with various flours and sugar, but also with some things that are being flavored and I didn't want the smell leaking out while the product was inside. These click on all fronts and are what is advertised and expected. Caveat - don't expect that you will lift these by any of the tabs. These are closures, not handles, and they will pop off. Fortunately, there is one on each side and a spill was averted, much to my relief, as well as my son who would have had a mess and a very upset parent. How long the hinges on these things last is the biggest question. However, when OXO decided to massively increase the price on their product and change the overall design and popable top, these started to look very good. May the stars align and keep the plastic on these hinges good for a very long time and then give me advance notice so they can be replaced.
