its OEM worked like a dream
I liked the ease of installation and that it was a coated part, fit on tranny as good as new worked perfectly sovled my problem ,my old one was rusted and worn down

Thought it would be larger
It fit inside my hand, and while my aren't small they aren't giant so it was rather shocking when I got the big package with the small piece in it. All's good though, it fit on my 700r4 or 4l60 transmission, so I'm happy with it.

I had to modify the part
Even after installing this part, the selector cable was falling off of the 'nipple'. Our solution was to break off the nipple, drill out a hole and put a bolt thru the hole. We then were able to bolt the cable onto this part... like GM should have done in the first place.

Part was genuine. Had to take a chance on this part as it shipped fast, but the angle of the bolt slot is different than 2011 Silverado 5.3 6-speed and makes the shifter jam the cable if you install this wrong part with the notch in it. My truck needs the arm without the notch.
