VERSUS is part of the VERSACE fashion house, it is a branch of Versace that Gianni gave to his sister Donatella. As Blue Jeans is a cheaper fragrance they decided to market it under the VERSUS name and keep the more luxurious and more expensive fragrances under the VERSACE name. Hope this makes sense, bottom line is VERSUS is not a fake version of Blue Jeans.
